Chapter 4: Unexpected Feelings

Thalia's POV

This week came by too fast than I expected. Todays a Saturday. I'm here in my room with Rach and Nia. I made friends with them the last few days since we are classmates in History and Math. Except for Rach; we have the same Gym class schedule.

They're here in my house to hang out and since there was no body but me at home, I actually forced them to come over. Glad they agreed though, heh.

"What're we gonna do?" Rach jumped in my bed allowing her long red hair to cover my face since I was laying down too. "Movies?" Nia suggested as she took some dvds out of my drawer.

"Naah, movies are boring." Rach stood up and tied her hair up with a messy bun. "C'mon girls, let's go." Rach quickly grabbed mine and Nia's hand and led us to her car outside. She drove us far; not too far, but quite far, until we arrived at Taco Del Mar.

"What are we doing here, Rach?" I asked Rach as we headed inside the restaurant. "I was hungry and my stomach ached already." Rach mumbled with a pout in her face but suddenly her brown eyes locked to a certain place inside the restaurant and she grinned. "I invited 3 idiots anyway." She walked towards a table and my jaw dropped when I saw Chad, Brian and Mike seated.

"Hey guys." I greeted them while finding myself a seat beside Chad. "Hey." Chad greeted back with a sweet smile causing me to blush. "WAITER!" Rach shouted while a young man rushed over to our table. Poor guy.

We chatted alot and even joked around. Neither one of us haven't noticed the time until the sun went down. Yup. We spent our whole day inside the Resto. and finally went out around 7pm.

"Aaahh, what a day." Brian said while going to his car. "Hey guys, I'll get going now. Still have to visit Haley at the hospital." Brian went in his Nissan and drove without another word. Not even a 'good bye' or 'had a fun time'. Pathetic guy.

"Haley?" I managed to ask out of the blue. "She's Brians younger sister. She had been into a car accident and broke her leg." Mike answered my question. "Well guys, I better get going too." Rach raised her hand as a sign of good bye. "Wait, aren't you gonna take me home?" Nia slumped her shoulders and looked quite disappointed. "Nia, sorry I cant. Just go with Mike. You two are neighbors anyway." Rach gave a pat to Nia's shoulders as if she really was sorry and walked away to her car.

"What about me?" I suddenly felt left out by my friend. "Well, I guess I guess i'll grab a cab."

"I'll drive you home." Chad held my hand and I couldnt feel my toes already. Chad Srilagne is holding my hand!!!!!!!!!!! I NEED AIR.!

Chad chuckled maybe because he saw how stiff I become. Mike nodded at Chad and both Nia and him drove home already leaving me and Chad alone. Alone...

Chad's POV

I drove her to the place in where she lives. We entered a village I wasn't really familiar of. This place was awesome. Huge houses and loaded with security gaurds inside and out. Lia tapped my shoulder and pointed to a house which was super gigantic and she told me that's where she lives. I never expected her family to be this rich. I drove inside the palace and was so surprised to see loaded of security gaurds standing outside the house.

Is Lia princess but secretly hiding it so no one would know?

I parked the car in their parking lot which was like a whole soccer field wide. "So uh.. I should get going now?" I asked her while I was still zoned out on how gigantic this place was, and the house itself was like---

"I was wondering.." Lia stood there and I could see her blushing but I dont know why. But she looked cute. "...if you could.. you know-.. uhm... hang out... for a while..?" She managed to say while facing her head to the ground.

"Okay sure Lia." I smiled at her and she stared at me, smiling shyly. She looked cute tonight, her wavy brunette hair was shining, I dont know how she did that but it really was. She looked..cute.

Thalia's POV

I dont effin know what came up to my mind when I asked Chad to hang out with me for awhile.

Here we are in my room, the air was heavy, making the moment more awkward. "So uh, what a very gigantic house you have." Chad, thankfully, broke the awkward silence.

"This is my dad company's house. He usually holds meeting and business parties in here. I only cone here if I feel lonely at our other house." I told him while I made my way to my bed, jumping. Then sitting Indian style.

"Wow, and you have another house?" Chad raised a brow and lookes amused. "Yeah..." I tried my best not to sound like I was bragging out on how rich my family; my dad to be exact; is. "Why do you feel lonely at your other house? Where's your mom?" Chad walked around my room looking at the picture frames hanging.

"She's gone." I sounded relaxed, which made him flinch. "I mean, not gone as in gone, haha,..." I laughed nervously. "gone.. She left me. Wait. Haven't I told you that before?" Chad shrugged and smiled. "Oh yeah. Now I remember."

Chad came closer and sat beside me on my bed.

CHAD IS SITTING ON MY BED. AAAAIIIIIRRRRR.

Gosh why am I acting this way? I really must be sick. Pfft.

"Are you okay? You look pale." Chad placed his hand on my head to feel if I'm sick. "You're not hot."

god, that hurts.

But of course I knew what he meant by 'not hot'. He was assuring that I wasn't sick. I'm just over acting. Oh me.

He then smiled at me and came closer and closer until our heads were an inch away. I could already feel his hot breath. Curse this feeling!

I wasnt comfortable on our position because it made my heart beat ao fast for whatever reason God knows what, so without hesitation and without looking, I leaned backwards only finding myself falling down on the ground but fortunately Chad was fast and he grabbed me allowing his body to hit on the ground instead of mine. But I was on top of him.

I quickly got up, heart beating so fast; faster than a minute ago. Then I realized. I realized just then,

I'm inlove with Chad.
