Thalia's POV
These past few months have been going smoothly. Today is 13th of December. I cant believe that its almost my birthday! I'm here in my room, yes my room. I've already made up with daddy last month and he seems to be nicer than usual which I find really creepy.
Anyway! I'm going to be having my debut ! I love birthdays as you can see. Specially when its my birthday to come!
I ran downstairs and rushed to the hall where I stamped my foot when I stood trying to get the attention of dad who is sitting down on a couch saying something. Why was he talking to himseld?
"Daddy, daddy guess what, guess what!" I was so thrilled that I shouted on the top of my lungs. Dad widen his eyes at me and just then, when I took a peek at the other side of the hall, people from dads work were there, smiling and some where whispering to each other and giggling at me.
My body stood stiff as I stared at them. Embarrassment filled over me and I could feel my face turning red.
"Lia sweetheart, can we talk about whatever matter you want to discuss with me, later?" Dad smiled at me and slightly gave him a nod then ran as fast as my short legs could carry me.

I was in my bed still hiding from embarrassment about what happened earlier. Then there was a knock in my door.
"Thalia dear?" Dad went in and walked towards me with a smiling face. "So, tell me whats up?" He pinched my cheek and wrapped an arm around my shoulder. I got so excited just then and I hugged him so tight.
"Guess what! Its almost my birthday!!!" I hugged him tighter that made him cough and shove me a little bit to get air.
"Sweetheart, of course I know that it's almost your birthday. Its on the 18th." He gave a pat on my head and smiled.
"Well daddy, about the preparations, I can always do that." I gave him an assuring thumbs up and stood up. "Its going to be massive, dad. The theme of my debut, i've thought about it like a mascarade ball. Then all of my relatives and family friends will be here! And also all of the juniors from school!" Dad scoffed when I finished the last sentence.
"Sweetie, I agree in all of your preparations and stuffs but, about all the "juniors" in your school as visitors.." I felt something negative is going to be spelled out in dads mouth any seconds now....
"..they're wild kids, Lia. Remember what they've done to you in that last "party" you went into?" Oohhh noo daddy, not that again.
Please dont go back to that topic please.
"I will not allow you to invite your friends in here, Thalia Kris. Never." He stood up and his face was so damn creepy. Ughh I just hate it when dad, again, plans up and ruin everything I want to do.
"But daddy! Its my party I-"
"No Lia. A no, is a no." He went near me and gave me a hug. "Just not in your birthday, okay? I want everything to be perfect on that special day." He cupped my cheeks and kissed my forehead. He then walked outside.
Aaaaaarrrggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Curse this! I wanted to invite Chad! Why does dad have to decide things for me!? And its my birthday, not his!
I called Rach but she didn't picked up. Then Nia, and Avril, but neither of them picked up. Stupid bffs.
I changed into one of my sweat shirts that has an "I've got swag" on the front, wore a blue skinny jeans with a pair of my favourite Nikes. I wanted to refresh my mind so I drove down to the central park. I sat down in between to tall trees and enjoyed the view. Their was a huge lake which was very refreshing to look at. The grass were green that it made me wanna lay down on it.
