I didn't get any birthday presents this year. Well, only one and that was my expected letter to Hogwarts. I only had one friend to share this news with.
My friend Angelina lived across the road from my manor.
She knew how things were at home. I'd never actually been around her house though. Our parents were pure enemies. I snuck out of the house as soon as I got the letter, and went round to her house. I sent a letter under her door;
Dear Angel,
I got my letter! I'm so excited! Did you get yours?
Love from Millie Xxx
Almost straight away, I got a reply on the back of the paper.
Dear Mills,
Yes! I got mine yesterday! I'm soo excited!
Love from Angel Xx
I smiled and went home.
