2 weeks until the ball...
George was trying to make me tell him what my dress looked like, so we could match. All I told him was that it was red, so he'd need red dress robes.
"Red.." he'd said. "Right, got it. Can you give me a tiny bit more detail?"
"No!" I'd replied. "You have to wait until the day!"
"Aww c'mon-"
"No!"
No matter how many times he asked me, I'd never tell him. I may seem weak sometimes, but I'm no pushover. Never ever.
1 week until the ball...
George stopped trying to get me to tell him. As there was only a week until the ball, I guess he thought there wasn't much of a wait anymore. Or he was scared I'd like, punch him or something if he asked again. So that was over and done with.
Now that all my friends had dates, we were all squealing with excitement at every opportunity (even in class). Professor McGonagal had to tell us multiple times to shut up so she could teach.
The night before the ball drew closer. As some girls took HOURS to get ready, lessons were cancelled for the whole day.
Soon it was Friday, the day before the ball. I was bursting with excitement. My life was finally starting to feel like I'm living it.
