Just a note before I begin...

I apologise if the chapters are really short. I'm trying to update everyday, and since I'm a busy person, that's really hard. I'm going on a plane tomorrow, without WiFi, so I apologise ahead if there's no chapter. That's partly why I'm posting 2 today.

Thank you AnotherHater101 for all the support with this story! I really appreciate it!

And of course thanks to my best friend Penny ( potterheadgirlxxx ) who has been here for me all the way.

Anyway, on with the actual story now!

We boarded the train, both in fits of excitement. We joined a compartment with Angel's friends Katie Bell and Alicia Spinnet. We actually had a lot in common; even though I'd never actually properly played quidditch, I had read Quidditch through the ages and stolen my brothers toy broom once for a ride, and stolen the old Daily Prophet newspaper of the day before mum through it out just to read the sports pages. Katie and Alicia seemed to be obsessed with quidditch, and I hoped to make the team next year.

Just then, the door opened and a girl came in. She had long curly black hair and stunning metallic blue eyes, with a wild feeling about them. ( potterheadgirlxxx  ) She was followed by a small dragon, with scales and little dainty wings.

"Hey, I'm Bella." She explained. "And this is my pet dragon Phoebe. Do you mind if we sit here?"

"Not at all!" I replied. Please sit!"

Phoebe glided over to my shoulder and sat on it. I smiled; it wasn't everyday your new friends pet dragon sat on your shoulder.

A few minutes later, the door opened and in came another girl, who had longish blonde hair and blue eyes. She had a pet wolf behind her. People didn't seem to have normal pets these days!

"Hey, I'm Rosie," she said, "but you can call me Ros. Everyone does. Can I sit here?" She added. I nodded. This just seemed to be THE compartment today.

We finally arrived at Hogwarts at 4:45, and I was so nervous but excited at the same time. Angel took my hand into hers, squeezing it tightly. "You ok?" She asked. I nodded. "Well, maybe not," I admitted due to her frown, "but I'll be ok eventually... once the sorting's over."

The sorting was the one thing that I wasn't looking forward to at Hogwarts. I knew that all my family had been pure blood Slytherin for eternity but I knew I wouldn't be. I didn't want the humiliation of getting a howler, but I didn't want to ask the hat to put me in Slytherin either. I was in a tricky situation.
