I tapped my foot nervously, unable to stop myself from constantly looking left and right for any sight of him. We agreed to do brunch at a small local cafe however due to the freezing weather all the tables inside were taken and I was stuck outside waiting for Zayn to show up. Nervously, I pulled out a ciggarette whilst trying to keep Pooka's leash in my hand as he attempted to attack passers by. I was a little early but after Harry left I felt too lonely to stay at home by myself even with Pooka running around. A few minutes later I caught sight of him and my heart jolted. He was wearing black jeans, a black leather jacket and his beard was quite scruffy, just the way I like it. Taking a deep breath before he approached me, I reassured myself that everything would be fine before presenting him with a wide smile. "Hey." I said and he smiled with his arms outstretched for a hug. Pooka got to him before I did so he leant down and gave the pooch a playful hug before standing up again and embracing me in his arms. He took a seat, liting up his own ciggarette before staring at me intently. "Did we organise a staring contest or brunch Zayn?" I said sarcastically and he smirked.

"You alright?" He asked and I could only shrug and look away. I could not have him know how much this was affecting me, even after my embarrasing reaction to his marriage last night. I was only stable enough to pretend I was perfectly fine. He sighed. "Sahara, I... I am so sorry." He said with a remourseful face. I shook my head no.

"Zayn, you have nothing to be sorry for, you've done nothing wrong." I said, adding another reassuring smile. It's funny, this cycle we're traped in; apologizing for the harmless things we've done and getting upset over them. He continued to stare at me and I could tell he was trying to figure me out; figure out if I was being honest, figure out if I really cared. He didn't see me cry last night, he knows close to nothing.

"Either way, I should have told you earlier about the wedding. We... we decided to do it so soon because after this 10 day break the boys and I will be on tour non-stop until October and even then Perrie will still be on tour. We didn't want to wait any more, so we thought why not now?" He bit his lip and I nodded my head, taking a deep breath as I took it all in.

"So how will you organise it in such a short time?"

"Well we've actually been organizing it for a few weeks. Perrie and her mum have been doing most of it because she's free at the moment. It's only going to be small, nothing crazy so we should be sorted in time."

"And she'll find a wedding dress and everything in time?" I asked, trying to find some flaw in this stupid fucking plan of his.

"She's getting it made. I know wedding dresses takes months but she knows a designer so she was able to speed up the process dramatically." He stated. He was being patient with me, answering all my questions and allowing me to understand it all.

"Well congratulations." I said with absolutely no enthusiasm what so ever and of course he picked up on it. Hey, in my defence he doesn't seem so excited either.

"Thanks, but are we good?"

"Of course!" I glanced at my watch, not even reading the time properly before I spoke. "I've got to rush, I'm meeting India so I'll see you later." I said smiling, pulling Pooka's leash and turning away before he could try and stop me. My plan failed however as I was jerked back by Pooka who was being a stubburn little shit. He was persistant on peeing on this specific pole right beside the table Zayn was still seated at. I could tell he was trying not to laugh as I struggled to pull Pooka away. "Don't fucking laugh Zayn." I said firmly and I could see the curl at the edge of his lips. I raised my eyebrows at him.

"I'm not laughing." He said with a clear grin. I rolled my eyes, Pooka finally finished with his business before I pulled him away.

"See ya." I called without looking back. I'm too cool for you, Zayn. HA. I made my way to India's, knocking on her door as Pooka sniffed the entrance to make sure it was safe. Good dog. She opened up, her face a little pale but other than that she seemed OK. "Hey," She sighed and I pulled her in for a big hug. She squeezed me back before we moved from the doorway to her coffee table. She made me a cup as I released Pooka from his leash and let him roam about.
