A/N: It's 1:30 am and I'm so tired, plus I got work in like 5 hours, but I really wanted to update. Sorry for being late - I didn't like the way I had written a specific part and I had to redo it like 3 times. Anyway, enjoy! 💖

To say you had a rough night would be the understatement of the century. You didn't have much recollection of how exactly you got home after Yoongi ditched you in the studio but you somehow found yourself huddled up in your bed with the covers over your head and pressed tightly to your lips to avoid any sort of noise escaping. Vaguely, you remembered the headlights of an approaching car, people yelling to get out of the way and a very angry man shouting at you while questioning your sanity. But you didn't care. All you could see was Yoongi's horrified expression after he kissed you – as if he'd made the worst mistake of his life, and his words kept playing in your mind like a broken record – "I shouldn't have done that. Leila is waiting for me".

At that moment you were glad Taehyung wasn't home when you came back because there would have been no way to hide how devastated you were. The boy had always been there for you and it would have no doubt been easier to cope with this situation if he was present to cradle you in his warm embrace, whispering words of solace in your ear, until your mind slipped into a dreamless slumber. There wasn't an inkling of a doubt in you that he would have done it, like he had so many times before, but you couldn't bare for anyone to see you in this broken state. Through all the pain and heartbreak, Yoongi had never delivered such a blow. You had barely managed to hold Taehyung back the last time and now you feared your best friend's reaction so much so that you preferred to suffer through this alone.

"All you have to do is get through tonight and it'll be easier in the morning", you kept repeating to yourself, hoping for the words to come true, but knowing all too well they wouldn't.

You were still awake when you heard the front door opening and the sweet scent of strawberries reached you even under the covers as Taehyung peeked into your room to check up on you. Biting into the sheets, you tried to remain as still and soundless as possible, until you heard an endearing "goodnight, sweetheart" and the door gently being closed. Wishing you goodnight was something Taehyung never missed out on and the pet names he called you always warmed your heart. You smiled through the tears, staining your cheeks, and in that moment you cursed fate for falling for someone like Yoongi and not Taehyung, who you were sure would never hurt you. Honestly, you weren't much of a believer when it came to reincarnations but you must've done something horrible in a past life to deserve the cruel punishment you were being bestowed right now.

As expected, you didn't get a wink of sleep that night but on the bright side – you cried so much that at this point you were sure your body was so dehydrated you just didn't have any more tears in you. Lying in bed was getting you nowhere so you got up before the crack of dawn to make breakfast, mainly for Taehyung since your throat felt so sore and tight you barely managed drinking the glass of water you poured for yourself. A quick shower was enough to fight off the fatigue for now and helped you clear your head at least a little bit. Sitting around the house sulking all day wasn't going to do anyone any good which is why you got dressed and waited for the clock to strike 8:30 am so you could walk out of the apartment and head straight for Hoseok's studio. Dancing was just what you needed to get your mind off things.

It was no surprise to see Maggie's smiling face when you arrived at the studio around 10 am. Despite your very best efforts to keep a smile on your face, albeit a fake one, you must've not been doing a very good job at hiding how you really felt because the girl didn't say anything after her usual cheerful greeting, just handing you the schedule with a soft "Practice Room 2" falling from her lips instead. She was a real chatter bug and on any other day you would have appreciated the gift of the sudden silence but right now it just weighed even heavier on you, knowing your act couldn't fool even the receptionist, who didn't know you that well to begin with. How were you going to get through this day without everyone finding out how chipped your seemingly perfect facade really was?
