A/N: Double update, as promised, guys. Also - it's kinda long and angsty af (didn't mean for it to be but this plot has a mind of it's own sometimes) so in the words of one of my favorite youtubers - buckle the fuckle up and enjoy! 💜

Looking back on your decision from almost three weeks ago, you were pretty sure it was one of the best choices in your life so far. A long-term commitment with anyone other than a certain alpha was never really something you'd given much thought to, let alone when it came to a human like Vincent. Truth be told, at first you started seeing him just as a rebound of sorts - a harsh statement but true nonetheless. Well, maybe you did it to spite Yoongi as well, seeing as though he didn't seem to particularly like the human or his presence around you, but as time went on you were beginning to realize just how attracted you really were to that boy.

Most of your relationships were focused on you doing things for the other because that was the kind of person you were - always wanting to make your partner feel loved and appreciated. More often than not, that in itself was the reason those relationships ended - you were beginning to lose yourself, to change or give too much while receiving nothing in return. Your love was taken for granted and ultimately replaced because wolf boys loved the thrill of the chase and you were no longer a rush.

Being with Vincent was different. For the first time in forever, you felt appreciated, loved, wanted. It wasn't even a case of him doing something big - the little things were the true reason he had managed to keep your attention and continue getting you to agree on dates. Like the random texts you'd get throughout the week, wishing you a good day at work, telling you to not skip lunch and stay hydrated, reminding you that you looked beautiful, regardless if you were wearing a Versace dress or simple sweats from the corner store.

Another thing you found yourself loving about the boy was the fact he actually wanted to listen to what you had to say. Vincent was patient and curious by nature, which meant he didn't just nod any time you felt like you were talking about things he didn't understand or care about. No, he made an effort to at least try and comprehend and ultimately get to know the real you - asking questions, sharing stories, prompting conversations you had never had with anyone outside your pack before.

Of course, the fact that he was a perfect gentleman really worked in Vincent's favor. Not once did he miss an opportunity to hold a door open for you or to pull out your chair and help you sit before he did. At no point did the dates get boing either. In the couple of weeks, you had been seeing each other, Vincent had taken you to everything from a restaurant, to a theater, a boat ride, ice skating, dancing, bowling, even planned nights with your pack. Not one time did he attempt to impose any of those activities on you, however, you were absolutely enthralled by all of them and never backed out of a single one.

Boundaries were something that came with the relationship and you had to set yours from the start, especially considering you weren't an ordinary girl. It was still too early to let Vincent in on that fact, however, you needed to take precautions regardless.

Y/N: "We need to talk" you stated towards the end of the second week of your relationship.

Vincent: "Well, that never ends well. Tired of me already?"

He was joking or at least attempting to, but lying to a wolf was impossible - his increased heart beat was a dead giveaway. Somehow, you found his anxiousness endearing.

Y/N: "We just need to get a few things straight before this continues" you gestured between your bodies to let him know what you meant.

Vincent: "Ok, hit me" he smiled, visibly relieved.
