"Are we there yet?" Jimin whined as he pouted his already pouty lips.
"Quit whining. We'll find that damn bakery soon enough." Yoongi snapped back, an obvious scowl on his face as they dragged their feet across the muddy ground.
"Is it really him? I'm scared that it isn't and we're just hallucinating that it's him." The oldest sighed, as he gripped the pink straps of his blue and pink backpack as he looked around, using a pair of binoculars he had packed for the trip.
Taehyung was the most silent in the group, that occasion being very rare. Since the second maknae- or probably the maknae right now in the group was always loud, hyper and always had this happy expression with him.
But after the original maknae had gone missing, those days of smiles began to fade.
He was slowly recovering, leaning on to his hyungs to make him happy at least. But Guilt always followed him everywhere. He blamed himself for what happened to who was once his best friend.
Now that they had a trace of their long lost maknae, Maybe this game of Hide-and-Seek will finally be put to end.
The 6 members arrived infront of a small building, The brick chimney producing smoke and the aroma of bread and pastries lingered in the air.
They also saw a small window where the various products are displayed, hoping if people were to buy or not.
Namjoon, being the leader lead the way towards the small bakery and knocked on the wooden door. After a few knocks, there stood the boy they had been searching for over the year.
He looked thinner and paler than before. All those muscles the old Jungkook earned vanished.
"M-May I help you?" the boy stuttered out as he wiped his flour-stained hands onto the apron wrapped around his body.
Jin clicked his tongue as he pushed through Namjoon and Hoseok who were blocking the way and looked at the boy who was confused.
He sighed and ran his pink handkerchief all over the boy's face.
"J-Jin hyung... I-I don't think that's necessary.." Namjoon tried to stop the oldest with his task of getting rid of the flour on the poor boy's face.
"Bun? Where are you?" The seven of them looked towards an old man, who had a cane.
The boy got out of Jin's grasp and went towards the old man and led him to his chair.
"Y-You may come in, But leave your shoes outside please." The boy pointed towards the ground and the six began taking off their branded shoes that put the old worn out slippers by the door mat to shame.
Surprisingly, they fit inside the cozy warm house and sat down at the dining table where the boy led them to.
"Bun, who are these young men?" The old man asked, who finally got ahold of his glasses to examine the 6 men more and he also sat down with them at the table.
"I-I don't know. T-They claimed that they know me." "Bun" replied and The old man went quiet for a bit.
"Bun, I think the third batch is already cooked, can you please handle those while I have a talk with these young men?" the old man smiled and the boy bowed before he ran to another room.
There was a really long silence before the old man started talking.
"I-I found him maybe a year ago by the woods. I was picking out some herbs and I saw him there." The old man looked as he was reminiscing.
