Hi guys,
I'm not sure how long it's been since I last updated but it feels like it's been a long while. I'm in a good mood and writing a lot so I'm going to go ahead and post another chapter. I'm hoping you all enjoy! Let me know what you think.

Chapter 6
"We need to use a chip."
"I'm not putting a chip in her. She's already screwed up enough with the angel blood in her."
"Then how else do you plan on keeping her here? She's either running away from you or sleeping. And she's no use when she's unconscious."
"I don't want her to hate me."
"She already does, Andreas."
"What do you suppose I do? I can't let her go."
"You can't keep her chained to a bed. And you can't blind her either."
"If she's blind, she can't run away."
"Test it out. See what she does then."
My head felt heavy and I knew I needed more sleep. I was starving, tired, and confused about what was going on. But I wanted answers.
I opened my eyes and everything was black. I couldn't see anything. If the woman with Lucy's dad had been telling the truth, then he had blinded me.
Was it permanent or was it going to go away over time? What if I couldn't see ever again?
"How are you feeling, Julia?"
"What did you do to me?"
"I assure you we mean no harm to you."
"We?" There were more people than just him? That didn't sound good at all.
"The other doctors and I."
"How many others?"
"Around fifty or so. But you don't need to concern yourself with them."
"No, I want to know what's going on."
"There's something I would like to show you."
Either he wanted to scare me or he trusted me. I knew he didn't trust me after I tried to run away. So he wanted to scare me.
I shook my head. "How can you show me anything if I can't see?"
"Julia. Just trust me."
"You kidnapped me. And Aryan. How do you expect me to trust you?"
"Aryan did. And he's not hurt."
I knew Aryan wasn't happy but something was wrong with him. He probably didn't know what was going on. He didn't know what they were doing to him.
He grabbed my arm and I jumped.
"Julia, we're going to the surgical room now."
"You're going to operate on me? I don't think so."
"That would be done in the operating room. This is just to do a small procedure."
"You're not doing anything to me." I said. I kicked myself back on the bed and didn't make it far before I could feel the edge behind me.
"Julia, you're in safe hands. You don't have to be afraid around me."
"Quit saying that to me. You and I both know it isn't true."
"I have no intentions to hurt you."
"You told me you wanted to get back at Lucy. Killing me would surely do that."
"But it wouldn't benefit me. I told you, I wanted to raise you as my own. I can't do that if you're dead."
He was right. And I hated to admit it. He was mean and hateful and I didn't trust him one bit. Who was to say he wouldn't really kill me after all?
"Come on, Julia. The doctors are waiting on us."
"You're really crazy." This was getting more and more twisted. How many people were involved in his plan to get revenge?
"I need help in room 23C." He said and I knew he wasn't talking to me.
"Do you need a wheelchair?" It sounded like a radio. Like the type the nurses used at the hospital. Was that where I was?
"Yes."
"We're on our way."
The door opened and things got quiet in the room. I couldn't hear him there but I knew he hadn't left.
"What is your plan for me?" I asked, gripping the sheets in my fists.
"I've already told you."
"I want specifics."
"She's in here." He raised his voice for someone in the hallway. I could hear wheels on the floor. It had to be the wheelchair.
I hated not being able to see. I couldn't defend myself. I couldn't do anything for myself. It was awful.
Someone touched my arm and I pulled back. I turned my head in that direction, oblivious to the fact I couldn't actually see who was there.
"We're just going to take you down the hall, Julia."
"I'm not going anywhere." I said firmly.
He sighed. Both hands grabbed me and I screamed. I kicked at the bed but it only helped him lift me off the bed. He put me into the wheelchair and my legs were strapped to the chair. Then my wrists.
"Let me go!" I yelled, pulling at the restrains. I wanted out. I wanted to get as far away from them as possible.
"Give her the shot. She doesn't need to be awake for the examination."
"What, no-" I blurted the first thing that came to mind but it didn't help. A needle poked my arm and I knew whoever was with him had put something in me. A tranquilizer?
Whatever it was... it felt good. My head felt heavy and I had a hard time keeping it up. I let my eyes close since they didn't do anything for me anymore.
I had to figure my way out before...
