Any water connection with my skin causes me to grow my tail. Yes a tail, you read that right. I am a mermaid and so are two of my friends. Our secret is hard to keep considering water makes up most of the world.

We have had to deal with this since we were 15, we are 16,18, and 19 now. It happened when me and my friends were walking through a forest. I slipped off a rock and fell into a volcano looking thing. Just there on the wrong day and the wrong time. Full Moon. And we all ended up in the pool. So then after that every time water hit our skin we grew tails and soon it registered through our minds what had happened.

But everything changed when we met these guys....
