"Hazel." she snaps causing me to snap back into myself. Woah what the hell.

"i'm sorry. I don't know why I got like that" I sigh as a wave crashes up against us.

"it's fine. Just. Don't do it again" she laughs.

"ok." I look around then whisper to her "how long does this potion last?"

"oh shit."

"Melody!" Piper comes over to us floating along with a wave.

"what's wrong?!" she asks worried.

"Melody forgot to ask how long the potions last!" I panic.

"No! Lucas forgot to tell me!" she says trying to blame it on him.

"Oh my lord" Piper says shaking her head slightly.

"just don't stay in longer than 30 minutes at a time" I say as they all nod agreeing.

~Next Day~

I get up and stretch as my arm began to itch. I itched it until it began to hurt. I looked down at my arm to see a red irritated area. what the hell. I decided to text our group chat.

Hazel- Guys.

Melody- is your skin itchy too?

Piper- so it's not just me.

Hazel- omfg what the hell is happening

Melody- We can ask Lucas

Hazel- Text him!

Piper- we could add him to this group chat

Hazel- no! we have private things

Piper- right...

I got dressed and ran to school late. Again. I walked into first period with 30 seconds till.

"almost late again" Piper laughs.

"shut up" I laugh

After a few minutes the teacher starts talking and says we have to work in partners. Jack and Piper both turn to me.

"Piper he doesn't know anyone else in the class"

"alright" she says walking away from her desk.

"thanks" he laughs turning his desk around and to face mine.

"yup." I say facing my arm straight up.

"what's that?" Jack says pointing to the irritated part on my arm. I quickly pull my arm back.

"nothing. Just burnt myself" I play off.

"oh okay." He says grabbing the papers we are suppose to be working on. Nice save Hazel.

It was after school and me and the girls were walking home silently till Melody asked us something.

"hey guys I'm throwing a party tomorrow you coming? Or at least help me set up"

"I don't think my dad will let me" Piper says kicking a rock as we walk along the sidewalk.

"i'll help" I say elbowing her laughing causing her too.

"you're going Hazel?!" Melody says getting excited.

"I mean. Why not" I shrug while holding my binders up to my chest.

"yay!" she says with a small jump.

"ay. it'll give u a chance to show off to jonah some more" I saw with a smirk.

"true" she giggles.

"are you gonna bring alcohol?" Piper asks.

"well duh. It's a Friday night party" Melody says.

"don't expect me to drink any" she says dragging her feet.

"ok fine. Hazel?"

"a shot or two" I reply.

"yes! this is gonna be fun" she says as she starts walking backwards in front of Piper and I.
