I walked into school and saw the girls looking at this poster on the wall.

"what's up guys?" I ask walking up to them.

"there's a school dance!" Piper says cheerfully.

"oh. are you guys gonna go?" I ask.

"well if Jonah asks me then yeah" Melody says.

"how about you Piper" I say looking at her.

"i don't know...maybe, we could go together? be each other's date" she laughs.

"we'll see" I chuckle.

"well I gotta go cause I have to go to the 800 lab today" she sighs.

"good luck" I laugh.

"Have fun" Melody says and Piper walks off.

"What if Jack asks you" Melody smirks.

"I don't like him like that..." I lie.

"cmon, your gonna end up going alone, we all know Zach is gonna ask Piper" She pokes me with her elbow.

"Zach?" I ask raising an eyebrow.

"yeah they have been talking" She says with a shrug as we began to walk.

"oh wow. she didn't tell me" I say walking next to her.

"Well yeah, anyway, cmon we know you and Jack hooked up, you guys have a thing for each other. Admit it" She says looking at her feet.

"Hey! shush! No we don't it was at a party and we were drunk." I lie.

"yeah, whatever you say" she scoffs causing me to laugh at little and we go to class as the bell rings.

We had 3 minutes till the bell rings and all stared packing up.

"Hey Hazel?" Jack says awkwardly.

"what's up?" I say as I watch the clock tick waiting for the bell to ring.

"whatcha doing this weekend? or i mean Friday?" he corrects himself.

"nothing, how about you?" I say as there's only one minute now.

"nothing, um I just know the dance is coming up and I wanted to know if you had anyone to go with-" the bell ring interrupting him.

"well I'll see you at lunch, don't wanna be late" I say walking out the class room.

Soon it was lunch time and I walked into the lunch room, ignoring everyone and pulled out my phone. I wasn't feeling today. When do I ever feel any day of school.

I saw something funny and laughed to myself.

"what's funny?" Jack asks looking at my phone with a smirk.

"hey! none of your business" I laugh.

I really just wanted to go swim right now. I didn't wanna deal with the boys. I didn't wanna talk to the girls. I didn't wanna interact with any living thing. Wow, what's wrong with me?
