Further into the night Jonah found a game we could all play and brought it down. Once again it's kinda been a while and I forgot about my tail.

"I got it!" Jonah says running down the stairs.

He enters the living room setting it on the table in front of us all.

"Sit up" Piper says sitting up, FORGETTING I had my tail. As I moved it slid off her lap and the blanket fell off as I sat there with my tail looking like a idiot.

"Hazel..." Jack started.

"shit." Piper said not moving, not knowing what to do.

"Jack don't be freaked out just listen" Melody says as I'm in a state of panic.

"You're a fish?" He says confused, almost scared.

"no. well yes."

"i'm friends with a fish...I️ fuc-"

"she's not a fish!" Piper blurted out.

"I️ mean kinda..." I️ mumbled.

"Hazel, Melody, and I️ are mermaids, we aren't the same as fish but are close, thanks though" she says with a fake smile.

"yo-you guys are mermaids?"

"yes" all three of us answer.

"but where are your guys tails?" Jack says pointing to Melody and Piper confused.

"we...god this is so hard to explain" Melody says frustrated."

"why aren't u guys in the ocean?" he says.

God he was confused and...almost..scared.

"we-" Piper started but I️ cut her off.

"are you scared..?" I️ ask.

"n-no"

"really?"

"uh huh..."

"then why are you acting like it?"

"Hazel leave him alone."

I woke up on the couch with my legs back. Thank god that was a nightmare. I️ don't honestly remember much from last night I️ only remember having my tail fall out in front of Jack and thinking he was scared then me getting on to him and him passing out then I️ fell asleep and now i'm here.

My phone started ringing so I️ looked over to pick it up.

*incoming call from Jack*

I️ hesitated but picked it up after a moment.

"hello?" I️ say somewhat tired.

"Guess what!?" he says.

"what's up?" I️ softly laugh.

"I️ had a dream you, Melody, AND Piper were mermaids, what a dream" he laughs.

Yeah...a dream...I️ think I'm gonna let him continue to think it was JUST a dream.

"yeah what a dream, how does that come to your mind?" I️ scoff sitting up from my bed, rubbing my eyes.

"don't know" he says as I️ sounds i️f he's putting a glass down on the other line.

"well uh I️ gotta get ready I️ just woke up, talk to you later"

"yeah. Talk to you later" he says.

"bye" I️ say.

"bye" I️ hear as I️ take the phone away from my ear ending the call.

I️ then text the girls so they don't bring it up.

Hazel- guys Jack thinks our whole mermaid secret is a dream so keep that a secret and make sure to tell Jonah Melody or i️ will it u forget.

Piper- gotchu

Melody- Alright and go ahead.

Hazel- alright.

I️ then go and text Jonah. Yes I️ have all their numbers, don't ask?

Hazel- yo Jack thinks Piper, Melody, and my mermaid secret is a dream don't slip up.

Jonah- I️ know.

Hazel- oh.

Jonah- lol
