I walked into school to first period. Jack was there before me for once and I slid into the desk next to him, as our desks have been moved.

First period was pretty boring along with, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, then we finally got to lunch.

After sitting in the cafeteria for about 9 minutes of nothing to do. I remembered some homework I had to do that I could work on at lunch.

"guys i'll be right back I gotta get something from my locker" I say raising my hand. A teacher comes over and once I get permission I head out.

I walk to my locker which is placed outside. As i was opening a body leans up against the one next to me closing my locker on me.

"hey slut" Xavier smirks.

Great, now i'm getting shaky and wanna break down and just cry. The smallest words hurt me and i don't know why.

"um h-hi Xavier" I say clutching my books to my chest.

"aww is someone s-stuttering" he mimicked me with a laugh. Suddenly I got this weird vibe from my necklace. Did it alert the girls? Sure enough I saw them coming running around the corner as Xavier kept walking closer to me.

"can you just leave?" I ask getting the courage to speak up.

"whyyy? you don't like hanging out with me" He says with a smirk coming somewhat closer.

"no. You're a bitch." Alright well I take that back I wish I didn't get the courage to speak up. I heard more footsteps as I ignored them.

"did you call me a, a bitch?" he asked shocked, well I wouldn't never talked to him like this in middle school.

"yeah. I did." I say standing up straight.

"Hazel!" I hear three voices yell before I stand there holding my face. It started stinging. Did he just, slap me? Suddenly some one came up and threw a punch at Xavier. I look to see Jack. Xavier fought back hitting Jack about twice but not that hard.

"Jack stop!" Melody says walking over to the fight as Piper stood next to me comforting me i guess. Melody went to pull Jack back and ended up getting elbowed in the jaw.

"fuck." She curses under her breath letting go of them holding her jaw.

"Hey!" a stern voice calls out as we all freeze. We look to see the principal, shit.

"let's go." he says angrily as we all follow silently behind him.

He lead us to his office as me and Xavier took seats in the two chairs and Melody and Piper stood to the side and behind Xavier as Jack stood behind me.

"explain before you all get suspended" he says sitting up straight in his chair.

"so-"

"I-"

Me and Xavier started at the same time.

"Let me talk i'm not the bully!"

"i'm not the slut!"

"guys!" The principal says grabbing our attention.

"Hazel go first" he says motioning me on.

"So I left lunch to grab something out of my locker to work on in lunch, I was minding my own business until Xavier came up to my locker closing it on me." He scoffs and I give him a dirty look as I continue.

"So he called me a slut then I tried backing away but he continued and blah blah blah I ended up calling him a bitch and suddenly he slapped me."

"She's lying!" He says suddenly sitting up straight in his chair.

"no she's not!" The girls but in.

"No i'm not! He could check cameras right now!"

"I believe Hazel more than you Xavier, but tell your side" he says leaning back in his chair.

"So i came back from the bathroom and saw Hazel at her locker, so I decided to be nice as say hey and she suddenly blew up on me cussing me out and I didn't slap her I don't know where she got that from" He says shrugging.

"girls? Jack?" he says looking at them.

"Hazel is telling the truth" Melody and Piper say leaning against the wall.

"check cameras!" I say.

"ok. But why were Xavier and Jack fighting?"

"Jack went to stand up for Hazel and Xavier threw a punch" Piper says

"that's a lie!" Xavier stands up.

"sit down." Principal says as Xavier sits back down.

"Xavier, Dentention. Jack, Dentention. Hazel, Referral"

"what why?!"

"profound language" he says pulling papers out of his drawers.

"that's so stupid" Jack adds with a scoff.

"A referral too Mr. Avery?" he says looking up easing his eyebrow.

"no sir. But i personally don't think hazel did anything wrong, she was standing up for herself" He says.

"well she's getting a referral" he says writing on a paper. The bell rang and we were still sitting in that office. Ugh.
