THERE HE IS....

I have to say over 6 months he hasnt changed much. Still the same old hook, the same height, structure, face, smile. Still the same Harry darned Hook that made my heart beat faster for him. Still the same Harry I love.

But somethings had also changed since we left for the Isle. I notice he seems more driven. I can sense a goal in his eyes. Something I didnt know yet.

But of course as Harry is still the same, he still does errands for Uma and blindly follows her orders.

Dizzy handed over the card Mal just gave. Mal and I chew on our gums and shake our heads seeing how it was all still the same.

Harry turns to the cashier and taps it with his hook. "Now the rest of it"

Dizzy pouts but gives him all the money. He still hasnt noticed us.

"Mm. Thank you"

He was about to leave when I said

"Still Uma's ever loyal servant I see"

Mal speaks up. "Running errands for her or this time do you actually get to keep what you steal?"

Harry turns around a surprised smile on his face.

"Well well. What a wonderful surprise"

"Hey Harry" Mal said boredly.

"Just wait til Uma hears youre back. She is never giving you back your old territory"

I was about to say I dont care and I came here for him but Mal said

"Thats okay. Cos I will be taking it"

Harry gives a low chuckle and turns to me. "Well, the princess has come back"

There was a different touch to the way he said princess. It didnt feel endearing but it didnt feel cold nor hostile either. It felt... Strangely welcoming.

I gave him a smirk. "Oh please" I said. "You couldnt live without me. I had to come back for you or else you wouldnt last another day. You miss me too much my Pirate"

I used a teasing and flirty tone that took him aback. He smirks and touches a strand of my newly dyed hair with his hook.

"I have to admit it has been quiet sad without you. I really missed you"

I couldnt tell if he was just joking or not but a part of that somewhat felt sincere.

I tried something new.

"You know it would be fun to hang out and all but whats Uma gonna say about that? She is after all, very important to you isnt she?" I said my voice couldnt help but add a dash of hostility remembering he chose Uma over me.

Then his mood shifted. "You know I could hurt you"

He said sliding his hook down my hair.

Mal stopped his hand and I said. "But not without her permission I bet"

I used my gum to cover the tip of his hook. He smiles widely and starts to walk backwards. He eats the gum and walks out of the place but not before pushing more cans to the floor.

"Great. More sweeping" Dizzy groaned.

I felt bad for her and decided to do something. With a snap of my fingers, the whole place was clean and well organized. You could see your reflection on the floor.

Dizzy looks at me with thankful eyes.

"Thank you so much for that Hyacinth!"

I smiled at her and ruffled her hair "Anytime kiddo"

I pulled out twice the amount Mal gave her earlier and a couple drachmas. I gave it to Dizzy who looked like she was on cloud 9.

"Here. Keep it and hide it well. Or else Harry would come and take it again"

"Thanks so much"

"No problem"

Mal and I walked out of Curl Up And Dye and made our way to buy a few things to redecorate our hide out.

"Im sorry about being snarky to Harry. I just couldnt help it" she said.

I shrugged it off.

"Its fine Mal"

"How do you feel about seeing him again?"

I paused for a moment to think. Then I smiled such a wide smile the Chesire cat would go 'I quit'.

"I never been so happy in my life"

MEANWHILE WITH BEN AND THE OTHERS....

They walked through the streets of the Isle as Rose and Ben hoped no one would notice them as the royal family. Rose walked alongside Evie. Soon Rose and Evie were stopped when two kids bump into Evie and tried to steal her wallet.

"Kid what do you think youre doing!?" Rose said.

"Hey! Give it back! Stop!" Evie said trying to manage the two.

But then she stopped and stared at them. The kids were dirty and poorly dressed. They were doing what they could to survive. Evie looks at them with sympathy in her eyes remembering when she was like them. Rose saw this and finally saw how truly hard it was on the Isle.

Evie lets go of them saying "Just take it" she nods.

The children looked bewildered.

Rose sighs and shakes her head. She pulls out her wallet and gives each one of them a card.

"Here. Take these too"

The children gladly accepted it.

"Go on" and they went away happily.

Evie and Rose share a look. Rose puts a hand on Evie's shoulder. A gesture of sympathy. They look to Carlos and Jay who had been watching the whole thing. They had the same look in their eyes. But then Rose notices something.

"Where's my idiot twin brother?"

Evie groans. "Ugh. Oh Ben"

Ben had already rushed off ahead of them. When the group had found him he was smiling and offering a handshake to a man who grumpily rejected it. The group came to his rescue just in time.

"Ben this isnt the parade its the Isle" Rose reminded rolling her eyes at her twin.

"Keep your hands to your pockets unless youre stealing" Jay said.

"Either slouch or strut" Carlos adviced

"And dont ever smile" Evie said.

"Okay thank-"

Rose cut him off. "Bro I dont think this is a place for manners at all. We're going to have to be completely different"

Evie nods. "Rose has been doing a good job at that so far. Youre kind of a work in progress. Just no thank you's and drop the please too. Just..... Chill"
