HYACINTH'S POV

I felt my eyes slowly peel open. I was awake. My body ached and I assume I've slept a long time especially after what happened but I still feel terribly fatigued. In some way I also feel odd. Different. And I can't decide if it's in a good way or a bad way. It was just over all weird. Something has changed about me drastically but I can't put a finger on it yet. After confusion, the first thing I feel is the heat on my face from the glaring sun. I groan and hold a hand up to cover my eyes from such monstrosity. Apollo that little annoying sun god how dare he.

"Apollo if you don't  get the sun outta my face right this instant, Cerberus is going to love having a new chew toy" my voice sounded hoarse and croaky and throat felt a tad bit scratchy probably from all the screaming I did.

I feel like hellhound crap. Who knew extracting a soul from a god required so much strength and energy? But hey I managed it and not alone. Zyron's first mistake was underestimating the mortals. If it weren't for the special bond my soul had with them, especially with Harry, my soul wouldn't have enough strength to reap Zyron's.

An amused laugh distracts me from my thoughts. I put my hand away to see Harry leaning by the doorway with his arms crossed in his usual swagger cool pirate stance and his heart captivating smirk. I swear my heart skipped a beat but its not like I'll ever admit that to him. He already knows too well the effect he has on me. Its apparently good enough to get me to fall for him 4 times in his 4 different lives.

"Well well. Good morning to you too sleeping beauty" he greeted me with his usual flirty flare.

The wideness of the smile on my face would put the Chesire Cat to shame. I sat up and rested my back against the head board. "Good morning pirate" I replied, uncharacteristically chipper for 8 am in the morning. I consider it an ungodly hour to awaken someone. That someone is specifically me.

Harry went up to me and I shuffled a bit as my tired and weak body can to make space for him so he can sit on my bed. That's when I realize even a tiny little movement was so much effort for me. Holy Underworld how drained out am I? I make a move to try and get out of bed.

Harry saw me moving and immediately stopped me. "No no. You're not supposed to lift even a single finger. You're supposed to be resting"

I rolled my eyes and  paid no attention to him. I slapped his hands away and continued to slowly inch out of bed "Hades sake Harry Im just going to" I was cut off when I found my feet too weak to even decently stand on the floor. I closed my eyes and winced "......... stand"

Harry sighed exasperatedly and rolled his eyes with a smile. "You just have to be so stubborn. Don't you?"

He carried me bridal style, back into bed and made sure I was comfortable. He sat beside me, kicking his shoes off, wrapping an arm around me. I rested my head on the head rest and he rested his on my shoulder, tickling my neck with short affectionate kisses.

I smirked at him "I'm a Hadens, Harry and in one point  in my life, a Hook. But I'm not really sure if that was your last name too back then"

I can feel his smile on my skin. I turned my head to him so our faces were pretty close. He let out a small breathy chuckle. "Right. We were married back then"

I gently placed my forehead on his and sighed. "Yeah"

He lightly shook his head. "I still cant believe it. I mean I can't wrap my head around the idea. I lived 4 times. This is my 4th life. It just......" He paused speechless finding no words to describe his bewilderment.

I laughed at his amazement. I was just as bewildered as he was. "I know. Do you remember anything from your past lives?"

He shook his head before laying it against the headboard "Not much to be honest. I only remember my third life the one where I'm a Captain. Small bits and fragments here and there"
