6 MONTHS IN AURADON AND 6 MONTHS OF BEING GOOD.....
It has also been half a year that Henry and I have been dating. We're going smoothly. He's such a nice guy and Im happy to have him. He's right. He is that someone. Someone who treats me well and distracts me from the thought of Harry.
Harry.... Well with Henry around he's easier to get out of my thoughts but that doesnt mean I havent thought of him. Its weird because, every time Henry and I kiss or hug, I know its Henry but I imagined it as with Harry.
I often scold myself for these thoughts. Henry is Henry and I love him. I should just forget about Harry. I have more important stuff to worry about. Like the Royal Cottilion coming up. Mal would be an official lady of the court.
I couldnt be more happy for her. She grew up devoid from love being told it was a horrendous thing but now she expeirences it and knows its nothing like her mother told her. I was walking with Ben discussing Cottilion.
I was appointed one of his most trusted royal advisors and assisstant 4 months ago. Ben is a real fun guy to be around with and he is now one of my newest best friends next to Rose.
Sometimes his poshness kills me though.
He was chewing on an apple and we spot Mal being attacked by reporters. She looks lost and doesnt know what to do. She begins to panic when I said
"Ben, we need to do something about these reporters soon" I sigh annoyed.
"They are just doing their jobs Hyacinth" he replies shrugging.
"I know but Mal doesnt know how to handle them and she's freaking out. Help her"
We walk over to the reporters closer.
"Is your mother still a lizard?" One asks Mal.
Ben cuts in. "Okay. We'll let you know if or when that particular situation changes"
"Did you ever think you would be with a villain kid?"
This question came as wrong to me and hit a nerve. The tips of my hair glow red.
"Did you ever think of shutting the Styx u-"
My retort was cut off by FGM.
"Okay. Shush. Shush. This is still a school so if youre here youre either skipping, or tresspassing"
The reporters tried to continue questioning.
"But Fairy God Mother-"
Only to be shushed by FGM.
They all slowly went away.
"Ben. Mal. Hyacinth"
"Fairy God Mother" we greeted back as she went away.
Mal gave a sigh of relief.
Speaking of Mal, she dyed her hair blonde. It did not feel like her. I know what she did to get that hair. She used a spell. She's trying to be something she's not by putting up an act and neither I or Evie like it.
"Well that went well" I said putting a hand on my hips.
"Just dont pay any attention to them" Ben said.
"Well thats a lot easier said than done right?" Mal said with a laugh looking up at Ben.
They always looked at each other with admiring eyes. I for some reason felt jealous of this even though I thought Henry and I have that too.
"You know we should go somewhere, get away" Ben said.
Mal's face lit up. "Yeah"
My face turns sour "I dont want to be a party pooper or anything but Ben, youre late for a council meeting" I said showing him the time with my phone.
