Ambers P.O.V

I was floating. Isn't that what every girl says when she finally gets to kiss her crush? That she felt as though she was floating on a cloud. Cause I did in fact feel this for a few seconds, until I realized that I was actually floating. My body hovered inches above my seat, as well as Nico's.

It took me another millisecond to realize that I was starting to tilt forward, only not just me but the entire car was shifting, rolling. Time sped up again and I felt my seatbelt jerk me back, and I coughed at the pressure it placed on my lunges. It felt like gravity was pulling me in every direction; forward, up, down. By the time I realized that the car had flipped  I was upside-down, held there by the seatbelt. My ears were ringing, and I was sluggish to process everything. I glanced over to Nico. He was already looking at me.

"Are you okay?" he asked panicked. There was a long moment where i didn't register what he had said. Fear formed across his features. "Amber! Are you okay! Are you-"

"Yes!" I yelled back. "I'm good, I'm good."

The moment the words left my mouth he started to grasp at the seat belt constricting him. My head felt swollen from the blood rushing to it. I heard the faint sound of glass being scrapped across the ground, my head turned towards the noise. There were the feet of a person.

Beside me Nico had given up on trying to pull his seat belt off and had started to cut the strap with a small dagger. I realized that I should also be trying to get out of this car the moment I heard the sound of dripping. I clicked on my seatbelt and was fornitnate enough for it to unbuckle.

My head collided with the roof of the car as gravity finally took over my form. I rolled over, feeling myself being cut by glass, to see that Nico had just finished cutting himself loose. However he was smart enough to lower himself slowly to the cars roof.

There was a puddle of dark liquid forming where the driver of our car should have been. Only Nico's creepy skeleton driver was nowhere to be found. A female voice floated into my ears, the tone was slight panic, but the words where incomprehensible.

Nico kicked the remaining glass of his window out, and began to crawl out of it. I heard that voice again, and realized it belong to the set of feet that I had seen earlier.

"Oh geez, oh gods, ooh geez! Let me help you!" she exclaimed. She reached out a hand and I watched as Nico used it to help himself stand. He then turned around and proceeded to help me climb out of the cars window.

I could hear people talking in the background, a small cluster of people had stopped, blocking the highway and all its traffic. Impatient cars  honked their horns and someone was trying to make them pull to the side so police and ambulances would be able to get to the accident.

The girls voice still whined non stop.

"I can't believe it, this is awful. What's your name? Are you hurt? You should sit down" I don't think I have ever hated someone as much as I do the owner of that voice.

I excited the car through the window Nico had broken, glass dug into my palms. The sun light hit my face, as I tried to find Nico. He was leaning against another persons car. There were a lot of people watching and a few who were trying to help.

Someone grabbed my arm to help me up, I quickly untangled myself from their grasp.

"I'm fine" I had to repeat myself three times before they backed off, and then I saw her.

She was stunning, there was no denying it. Sleek black hair, pulled up into a high pony tail. Red mini skirt paired with knee high stockings and heeled boots. There was a small splat of blood plastered on the cuff of her thin bomber jacket. I assumed it was from Nico's intense nose bleed she was trying to stop.

As I stumbled towards them her head turned and looked at me. She smiled so brightly it made my head ache. Her cherry lips curling upwards; and for a split second, it was almost as if her eyes glistened red.
