Chapter 23

-Ambers POV-

"So you exited" asked Leo, I looked up from the ground and stop thinking about whether or not Nico likes me. Leo walks right up beside me, keeping in pace with my speed walking.

"What"? I ask him, a little confused as to why I should be excited.

"For your first capture the flag." Oh yeah. Let me explain this, when I first came to camp I came the day after capture the flag ( an: I don't remember what days it's on and I'm to lazy to check lol) then the next week the Hephaestus cabin caught on fire and the game was cancelled. Meaning this will be my first ever game, Annabeth and Leo have both been briefing me on it.

"Yeah I guess just nervous I'll mess everything up." I reply, shrugging my shoulders. I make my way towards the dinning pavilion, lunch is soon. Just as I thought it the coach horn blew.

"Amber stop beating yourself up, you will definitely not mess up" Leo explained trying to cheer me up, I just shrugged his comment off. We where almost at the dinning pavilion.

"So what are the teams" I asked him. Knowing he would know because he is his cabins head consular.

"Well on the one team is Hephaestus, Hermes, Ares, Hades, Apollo, Nemesis, Aphrodite, Nike, Tyche. Then all the other cabins are on the opposite team" he explained, which means I'm on the opposite team of Percy, Jason, and Annabeth. At least I have Leo and Piper, not to mention Nico. I really like Nico, like really like him.

"Well I guess I'm stuck with you" I say he pretends to be offended by my comment. He put his hand over his heart and fake stumbled backwards.

"That hurt," he said looking sad, I just rolled my eyes at him. I got my food on my plate and walked towards the fire with Leo following close behind.

"Are you still here" I asked in a mocking tone. I saw a small smile tug at his lips.

"All always be there Amber, anytime you need someone to annoy you, all be there" he replied, I rolled my eyes and blushed at his comment. Just then I saw Rachel Dare walk over to talk to Chiron.

She looked over and smiled at me, making eye contact. I went to wave hi at her but I couldn't. Rachel's eyes flashed green and she stumbled backwards.

But that wasn't all, the second we made eye contact and her eyes changed color I felt like someone has shoved me backwards. I dropped my plate and it shattered on the floor, kids where staring at me. I stumbled backwards, my eyes never leaving Rachel.

"Rachel what's wrong" asked Annabeth running up to her friends side, the rest of the campers started to gather around Rachel, completely forgetting me. I felt a hand on my shoulder that steadied me. But also sent electricity threw my body.

I looked over to see Nico standing beside me.

"You okay?" He asked a concern expression on his face.

"Peachy" I replied sarcastically. I turn around to leave with Leo and Nico trailing behind me, but before I did I heard a little of the conversation.

"Rachel what happened"

"I -I had a vision"

"Wait the oracle is working again"

"No, no it's just, something big is coming, something is going to happen at the campfire, tonight"

I felt a sharp tug in my abdomen(an: I am way to tierd to even remember what that is) where Leo was just tightening my armor. The armor was a decent fit.
