Friendship is not about who you've know the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said
I'm here for you
and proved it.

Dedicated to those people. The people who came into my life and started to support me and love me for who I am. I cherish you all more than you think, but most importantly my friends. In light of recent events, I want to remind you all to be kind online. n e v e r say something online that you wouldn't say to someone in person, if that makes sense hehe. Panic attacks, anxiety and suicide aren't subjects that should be taken lightly. If you would ever like someone to talk to, I'm right here 💕

Watching Mackenzie slip through my fingers and fall headlong into the bar below was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life. All I could do was stand there helplessly, a ragged scream tearing from my throat.

When she finally hit the ground, she landed on her back and flipped over onto her stomach. She was screaming in agony, I was yelling out for a medic– it wasn't long before the music stopped and everyone crowded around her.

I took the stairs four at a time in order to be with her faster, and the crowd parted when I got down. Someone had their phone out, presumably calling an ambulance, but I didn't care about that.

"Kenz." I whisper, sinking onto my knees and pulling her into my lap. Blood has pooled and is now covering the floor, and a wicked bruise has already started forming from her hair to her jawline. She's whimpering, apparently incapable of words.

"It'll be alright, It'll be okay." I say to her, voice fading. In reality, my hearts pumping with the stress of this all. The amount of blood covering the floor in this short amount of time is bad– really bad.

Mackenzie only looks at me dazedly, seemingly confused at this sudden turn of events. I turn when I hear Lauren and Brynn yelling, and they approach me with towels and water. They sink onto their knees just as I had, and I'm vaguely aware on someone putting up curtains around us. Lauren is red cross trained, so she presses a towel into my hand and tells me to apply pressure to where the blood is coming from.

"I can't do it." I choke out. "Lauren, look where it is coming from."

Lauren's wild eyes trail over Mackenzie's body, and finally they rest between her legs. "Fuck." She curses, "The baby."

Brynn shoves a towel into Lauren's hand, and Lauren begins to apply pressure to stop the blood flowing freely. With Mackenzie's head still in my lap, I absentmindedly stroke my hands through her hair. Her eyes flutter shut suddenly, and I yell out.

"Lauren! She's unconscious!"

"I don't know what to do!" Lauren wails, wiping sweat off her forehead.

Brynn jumps up, pushing her way out of the makeshift room, and I speak loudly to Kenz.

"Kenz, stay with us! Come on, eyes open eyes open! Oh god, please stay with me." I choke out, pulling her up slightly so her shoulders are elevated.

Looking up, I see Lauren toss another towel aside, completely soaked with blood. "Johnny, if we can't stop the bleedin–"

"They're here!" Brynn screams, coming crashing back into the 'room'. "The paramedics!"

She's right. Within seconds, a horde of people wearing yellow and green uniforms are controlling the situation. Kenzie's body is lifted onto a stretcher, and Lauren, Brynn and I are pushed to the side. I sob uncontrollably, head on Lauren's shoulder, and hope to god that Mackenzie and our baby will make it out of this alive.

Qotd: what's your opinion on trump?
Aotd: I'm sorry but I think he's an absolute dick– because of the things he does and says. It's pretty sad that the president of the most influential country in the world had to have his twitter taken away lol

Oh, and before you go...

Make sure you give me a follow ;)
