Loki's POV

I'm sick of it! Thor always being the favorite and now I know why! I was just another stolen relic of a victorious battle. A monster! A frost giant!

As a prank to ruin my brother's big day I let in a few frost giants to cause a ruckus but it backfired. Thor just had to go and get retaliation and now he is spending his days in the dungeons (A/N just go with it). Odin still refused to let me be king so I had to do something to show him that it is I who deserves the throne.

I told Heimdall to start the bifrost, tell no one where I am going. He agreed to it reluctantly. I arrived in Jotunheim, my true homeland I suppose. It was just dawn here and frost still covered much of the ground. I saw a figure in the distance dash into the palace, my intended destination. I opened the doors to the throne room and the guards took their ready positions. Laufey waved them off. That figure I saw dashing before was now at his side in a worn out cloak with frost on the ends.

"That was you? son of Odin?" he asked shocked. I nodded and took a closer look at the small figure standing timidly beside the king. She was so small for a Jotun, and her eyes were not their usual red. How strange! I smiled at her slightly and she looked away. She bent over to Laufey and said something to him.

"Father, may I be excused?" she asked.

"Not now!" Laufey snapped. He seemed upset with her. A hurt look crossed her face as she backed away. Her eyes shyly met mine and darted away quickly.

"What is it you want, Asgardian?" he asked me.

"Nothing but the throne of Asgard. I will lead you into the palace and right to Odin's chamber and you can slay him where he lays. I will return the casket to you and you can restore Jotunheim to all of it's.... previous glory, all i ask is that i will be left to rule unchallenged." I sighed. His eyes lit up. "Do you accept?"

"Of course Loki," he smiled. His daughter had a scared look on her face. For a frost giant she was quite beautiful. Hmm.
