Chapter 18

Heather's POV

After the party I retired to my chambers for the evening. I changed from my outfit and put on comfortable pjs. I laid in bed and stared at the ceiling, so used to seeing the stars in Loki's room. Suddenly a hatch in my ceiling opened. My jaw dropped. A note fell from the open hatch.

I smiled and laughed lightly. That man.... He was too much, in a good way. I grabbed my staff and the fog appeared and I saw Loki. Usually Jotuns are invisible to this sight but I guess not this one. He was lying in bed looking at the sky. I smirked and sent sparks flying into the sky forming the words thanks. his eyes widened then he laughed.

"Stalker" he said quietly. It made me laugh. I changed it so I could see Jotunheim. Ronan was on the throne and he looked deep in thought. Probably on how to destroy us. I rolled my eyes and went to Brianna, but also got Thor with her. They were watching the stars in a garden. They are just so cute together. I put my staff away and looked back up at the stars. Suddenly I got so cold, frost started to cover my sheets. I blew on them with fire breath, something Brianna taught me, and they thawed.

"Aw you're no fun," Loki said from the open hatch, nearly scaring me to death.

"Loki!" I laughed. "get down here and apologize for scaring me,". He hopped down onto my bed.

"Hm a change of venue, this is nice. And I'm sorry for startling you," he smiled.

"You're forgiven," I smiled back. He laid down and looked up. I played fireworks in the sky. Brianna was truly the greatest teacher. I knew they were watching so I put up a heart with B+T=forever. Loki gave me a weird look and laughed. Loki frosted over my mirror on my bed stand and wrote in H+L=? . I blushed and looked down. He grabbed my chin lightly and pulled my face to be even with his. He kissed my lips, ever so lightly. He pulled away and examined my eyes for a reaction. I bit my lip and smiled. I reached across him and frosted the mirror over the ? and put a heart. He gave me a dazzling smile. I kissed his cheek and laid my head on his chest.
