Loki's POV
I felt odd with her here, like I should change the plan. Why would Laufey bring her? to defer me from my plans? I shook the odd feeling from my bones and led Laufey to where Odin lay sleeping. He went in and Frigga struggled. He called for his daughter and I watched her run in. I followed silently in order to remain hidden.
"Do not fight me! or I kill her!" Laufey said grabbing hold of the girl. What??
"Why would I care if you killed your child. She's frail, not like the important Jotuns" Frigga sneered.
"That is true, but she is not a Jotun at all. Do you remember the baby girl you gave birth to 17 years ago? That you haven't seen for 11 years?" he asked as he waved his hand over her. her skin changed from an icy blue to pale tan, like mine. She gasped and nearly fell backwards. Frigga gasped and covered her mouth.
"No.... it cannot be.... H-Heather?" Frigga asked.
"Laufey no... it... This cannot be true" heather stuttered. I remember it now, a baby sister, born premature, so small and frail. She grew up weak, then I remember her leaving. Odin told us that she was sent to grow strong. But in truth she was stolen. Perhaps in retaliation for stealing me. Laufey struck at Frigga then went to Odin. He held up his dagger and I used my scepter to shoot him. He fell off and looked at me confused.
"Your death came at the hands of the son of Odin" I sneered as I obliterated him. Heather dashed towards me with her sword at the ready. I hit her down ad she laid there, weeping. Frigga came over and tried soothing her. She cringed at her touch.
"I remember, being a little girl here, then being taken.. and changed." She cried. I felt bad. Frigga smiled up at me until our moment was interrupted. Thor stood in the doorway.
"How did you get free??" I asked in shock.
"Out on good behavior. Which is more than I can say for you brother," he smirked.
"Thor!" Frigga gushed. Thor gave a questioning look to the girl on the floor and then his eyes opened in realization.
"That is not... it simply cannot be!" he said in utter shock.
"But it is" Frigga cried stroking her hair. I ran towards the door and knocked Thor back. I made my way back to the bifrost room to put my final plan into action. I am rightful king of Asgard! Thor was quick though with his hammer.
"Brother, stop this nonsense. We have gotten our sister back! it is a joyous occasion!" he tried reasoning with me.
"I am not your brother, nor am I hers! I am a stolen relic, as is she! I must end this once and for all." I yelled.
"Loki please!" I heard a higher voice say. I looked to see Frigga standing with heather.
"Mother.. I have to!" I said with tears swelling in my eyes, sorrow in my depths.
"Loki no! let us return to the palace, we can forget this happened." She smiled. I changed into my Frost Giant form. I heard heather gasp.
"I... cannot just forget this" I whispered. Her eyes filled with sympathy.
"You are my son, you always will be Loki. Please stop this" she begged. I hate seeing her upset like this.
"They will not stop!" I shouted.
"They will," heather spoke up. Her skin turned blue once again. "I will return as the rightful heir and make sure nothing happens"
"No! we just got you back" Frigga objected.
"I will return" she promised. She came to me and put her hand on my shoulder. I looked down at her. "I will return" she whispered so only I could hear. I sighed and gave in. I started to bifrost so she could return. She smiled at us before going in. Frigga hugged me but was in tears. The embrace was more for her comfort than mine. Thor glared at me from across the room. I returned the spiteful look.
