Chapter 21

Matthew's P.O.V.

         Dang it. Now what? Good thing Beth didn't see who it was who texted me. Stupid Megan. Does she really think I'd get back to her just because Neptune is into Mandy now. She deserves him more than Megan do. That little meanie girl can't accept all of the guy in the campus will for so hard on her feet. Bethany is even better than her.

          Yes, you finally heard it from me. I really love Bethany. Even though I treated her bad before. Okay, let's just say that what I did can't be called just bad but worse. But I just want to see her get mad and all angry. She's much cuter that way anyway. 

       Those dimples that show everytime we talk. Those glasses that I really want to change into lenses. I'm not anything into glasses. I'm just thinking it would be better for her to change her stle a bit. I mean, not her all over like a total makeover. I wouldn't want m girl looking anything like Megan, do I?

"Matthew we all know that you go and be Beth's boyfriend just because of our bet that you can make her believe you love her." she insisted.

"You know? If you can't stay put in your personal space and can't stop yourself from ruining people's happy lives? Why don't you ruin yourself instead?! I'm tired to put up of your drama every single time, Meg! You're not the queen of this world so stop acting like you own our school." I exclaimed and hung up.

    Damn, isn't she tired of being a complete b*atch? I mean, she's my friend but, she's just too much for all of us to handle. That's why I did this, let her see that I really lobe Bethany. Not just because of that stupid bet. But because I found her really to be that someone I could love. And that girl that can understand the whole me. 

Ask her to be my date on my birthday? Good idea.

Mandy's P.O.V.

           I walked into the mall with Bethany. She seems too enthusiastic about going into the mall. And to note that she's wearing a different outfit today. It's like she's a complete different girl from before. Not that girl who they call nerd. She's wearing a floral dress and a two inch black heel with her chain- straps satchel bag. And an owl pendant and a nerd glasses. Does it have a real lens? I couldn't tell!

         I was so suprised on how she's so different today. Her usual frizzy hair is straightened and she used light make up that mad her face look real younger. I dig this new Bethany seriously.

"Hey, Madie! Are you even listening to me?" she asked, that made me come back to reality.

"Sorry. I was just looking at how you look. You're so....pretty." I told hr staring at her. I feel like a pedophile.

"Ha.Ha. C'mon Mandy, I just changed how I usually dress up so that they won't tease me oldies. It hurts you know." she pouted.

"Aww, don't listen to them! I mean look at you know! We're gonna go and have shopping haul and do your closet over again. Deal?" I asked her, smiling.

"Deal. Of course. Now let's get this things started!" she answered.

"It's called shopping, Beth." I told her. Hmmm, does she even know how to wear things I mean, I was just kidding. 

"Okay, alright. Shopping it is." she rolled her eyes.

       We walked in a Forever 21 boutique. As expected lots an lots of stuff are in there. Dresses, skirts, shoes and other necessities you're gonna need. This shop sounds just perfect for my makeover client here. It's been a while since we hang out together., And I'm glad that somehow, we can still do this despite of all the things that has been going on these past few days. Not to mention the secrets that's been going on. I sighed deeply. Maybe, we're gonna solve this in time. 

          Both of use finished shopping after a few house and decided to sit and eat first before going back home and arranging her clothes into her newly makeover closet.

     I bought semr fries and chips for us both an walked back to our table seeing Beth talking to someone on the phone. 

"Really? That b*tch wants a fight then. Thank you so much, babe for pissing her off. You get a big kiss and big hug tomorrow before we get to school. yeah, Mandy's here. Time to eat, Matt. Bye bye. I love you!" sh ended and clicked her phone. She smiled when she looked up at me.

Wait. There's something new about her! I can't seem to pin point it out. I should ask her.

"is there something new within your face area...I can see something is new but I can't seem to get what is it?" I asked her.

   Beth laughed and pointed to her teeth.

"I got invisible braces now. For my last year of wearing braces. Since my dad got accepted back to Matthew Real Estate Co.!" She said excitedly and we jumped for joy. 

"That is so great! I mean, Matt would be happy for you as well thinking he's been bugging you about that." I said excitedly.

"I know! I'm so excited to tell him tomorrow. Oh snap! I gotta go now, Mandy. I'm so sorry. I need to go hom. My family needs to tell me something. I forgot to tell you about that. See you at school tomorrow! Bye bye! Thank for the shopping." She yelled while running off to the different direction.

Hmmm, What's up with that?

     The next day, by the time I got into school, I saw Matthew talking to a girl I've never seen before.Who is she, is she trying to steal Matt from ...Wait.

Wait a minute. Is that Bethany?!

"BETH!?" I yelled across the hallway making some of the students look at me too.

"Hey!"she smiled and hugged me. I saw Matt's eyes never leave her. His cheeks still stinging from the blush that happened a while ago.

"What happened at you, you look so pretty!" I exclaimed.

"Really? I just mix and match the things we bought yesterday." she smiled back. Even her teeth look so amazing. And her eyes just wore contacts.

      Bethany. Wearing a cotton white long sleeves, denim faded ripped shorts, flat doll black shoes, A pink ice cream and polka dotted backpack. Her hair is even straightened smoothly it looks more alive.

         My jaw's about to drop when I heard a voice coming from my right calling my name and sayign something.

"You're mouth might fall on the ground, Mandy. Haha, time to close it shut." I recognized Justin's voice as he hung his arms around my shoulder. i closed my mouth and glared at him. I saw him bump his fist with Neptune. Are they now best friends? What the heck is the meaning of this. 

My dreams are coming true! Except that I am wishing Neptune would like me back.

        Hello, people! I'm back here to post this latest and freshest Chapter of the most awaited story. (Or so I wish. :3) E.T.! Since this novel is near to its end, I wanted to go an upload faster since it's only my last week of vacation, because, I'd be back at school this June 6. I know. It sucks.
