Okay. So, what was was I supposed to say? Oh, yeah right. My mind is still dizzy from the kiss I received from Justin a while ago. The look from the guy's eyes with so much happiness and that grin that will never leave his face. I smiled an shook my head.
I turned and look at Neptune, he was sleeping. Did he see what Justin and I did? I hope not. I'd go and blame myself if I broke the poor guy's heart.
"Excuse me guys, would you like to have any drinks and food? I'd go down to the canteen and buy some" I asked them.
"Get me something good to eat. Food from every hospital I've went since I was a kid never get better. At all. It's either to sour, salty or spicy. Even worse, no taste at all. And oh, root beer too!" Justin ordered.
"And you, Prince Charming?" I asked Neptune, smiling.
"Just a can of Coke. I already ate." he looked up at me with a slight smile. His phone rang loudly loud enough for us three to hear. He almost jumped high because of shock. He quickly rummaged his pockets for his phone and read the message. He face scrunched and scowled like that text was the worst test he ever received. Who knows? Maybe it is.
"Who is it, Neptune?" Justin and I both asked
"It's nothing. I got to go. Mandy, take my Coke instead. I need to go home. What date is it? he asked me. Looking furious.
I looked at my cellphone's calendar to make sure. "It is the 30th of November. Why? What is that is bothering you? Stay first. Just wait for the rain to reside."I told him. it's raining hard since yesterday. And if he got out there he's be soaked by a minute.
"No! This can't wait for long. I need to contact my parents from...Or I'd get scolded again. Besides, It's just a little rain. Don't you guys worry, I'd survive." he chuckled, hoping for a little joke. I half-smiled.
"At least, take my umbrella with you. I'd take a bus later anyway when I need to get home."I offered.
He quickly took it from my hands and ran outside the hospital. I sighed. I remembered what Neptune said before. That mission he needs to do. I forgot to ask him. Maybe some other day. I look ad at Justin and told him I need to get the food from the canteen quickly since I'm starving and I'll be back in a few.
I took the stairs instead. i'd like to think for a while before I get to the canteen. Hm-mm, Seems like time is flying so fast. This school year is almost done. And its been 9 months since I met Neptune. And i still didn't get the chance to ask him about his family. No one even dared to. He keeps the information about his family to himself. i find it strange. Suddenly my mind drifted to the news few months ago about the space craft that landed on Flagstaff. I never searched what was inside of it before it landed on a place near us.
I laughed at the thought that alien used that to get here. I mean, if I was that alien I wouldn't chose Earth. There too much bunch of idiots and assholes to roam around. But, honestly, this one thought keeps on repeating on my mind. By the time that the space craft landed here, was also the time Neptune arrived to our school. I mean, it's been 5 years since they had new students. Well, that me and Beth. And his name! Neptune, so strange for a human. It's my bet that he's the alien from that spacecraft.
Okay. I am going insane. I need to get food. Quick.
'Mandy, get a hold of yourself!' my other self said in my head while I reach my order from the counter. I got Justin 2 large slices of pizza which he can chow down for a few minutes only. 'But what if, her thoughts are true?' the other voice fought back. 'Shut up both of you! you're making things hard. Get a hold of yourselves too.' I demanded mentally. Yup, it's official I am talking to myself and I'm insane. I rolled my eyes and used to elevator instead to go back to his room. Seriously, who would think of Prince Charming as an alien. poor stomach of mine becoming like a weird brain imagining stupid things. I sighed and entered Justin's ward.
