E.T. (A Neptune's Novel)

Chapter 18

"Hey, Justin. Whoa! Look who do we have here. Mandy and...who's this dickhead with you?" he asked Justin. 

           He did not just call Neptune a dickhead. But I'm sure I heard him right. And he did really call him that. I'll make this man regret he was even born in this planet called Earth. I scowled at him and gave him a cold, hard glare and said,

"You did not just call him a dickhead, you jerk!" I heard my voice yelling with so much anger in it.

"Oh yeah? Too bad I did. And seriously. You think you can scare me off just like that. Come on, Mandy. I'm not that stupid as you think. I think you merely even know how to throw a punch or kick!" he guffawed.

"Don't you even go there! I studied karate when I was a kid. And I'll make sure tonight I would kick your balls and make sure you can't produce any child!" I screamed at him. 

"Mandy, let it go..." Justin warned, whispering. 

      I looked at him appalled. What? Let this jerk go? No. I wouldn't. Like I'd let him say mean thing to me and my friends. I'd even let it pass when he just insulted me. But insult Justin and Neptune like there's no girl around? That's another story. I've seen this kind of attitude for a long time. From Matthew Millers at school before. Everyday he was so full of himself, I think I'm gonna go back and forth of the bathroom because I want to vomit everything in me. That was before though. And I hope that jerk isn't playing with Beth's hart because I will crush him into tinie-tiny pieces he can't be seen anymore. Yep, I'm pretty brutal like that.

" No, If he only insulted me I gladly would. But then he didn't. So he must be real scared now. I swear this is your last night say goodbye to your loved ones." I gritted through my teeth.

"Scary Mandy! Ohhhh I'm so scared I think I pissed my pants. Is that all you can do? if you want real fight then get out of the car and fight with me." he said.

"Wow, not only your a jerk but you're a woman beater. I can't believe guys like you exist." I shook my head. I almost did a face palm but I was to polite to do so. 

"Mandy let it GO! Why can't you just listen to him, think for a while and shut it!? I am not trying to hurt you by saying this but damn, Mandy! You're hitting the wrong wall right now!" Justin spoke riddles and I can't really understand any of them. 

"What the heck are you even talking about, Justin? Just spit it out, please. I don't like putting logic into anything right now." I begged him. he sighed and looked at me.

"He's the guy I've been telling you before." He started, suddenly his baby face turning serious and older like a brother to me.

"He's the man who I've warned you. He's the leader of the gang I joined when I left you. I never went to another country. I stayed in America and joined them to show everyone else I'm not as weak as I seem. I want to go back and be different from that nerd boy behind those thick lens glasses. He's the man who orders me, he's the reason I burned the picture of your father." he added,

      I was to petrified to speak. No words came out from my lips. I feel like my throat was burning. i want to say thousand of words but I can't seem to let them out. I felt pity for my best friend. i know what he looked like before when he was so helpless. And I still think it's my fault why he decided to do this to himself. I hugged him tightly to comfort him, but he slowly puled away to continue telling me. Who this man is.

"Uhmmm, let me introduce myself, Justin. We wouldn't want her making bad impressions aren't we? Well, my name is Alex. Just call me that. Nice to finally meet you." he greeted, offering his hands. I tried my best to maintain a good etiquette by stopping myself from slapping his hand away.

"Nice to finally meet you too. PROPERLY. But remember, first impressions lasts. A lot longer that you can think of." I answered back.

"Woooow. Brave aren't we? Hmm, Mandy?" he smiled.

"Mandy...stay..out of trouble...please." Justin, begged.

""Back the heck off, man." someone said. I turned ans saw it was Neptune. Ever since we started arguing, he was so focused on Alex's face. he seemed to be spacing out. And controlling himself. He looked so angry. I never seen him get angry before. His eyes were black as the charcoal ready to get flames any minute now. His fists glued on his sides. I breath a little faster. I mumbled a few words to calm him down, but it didn't seem to work anyway.

"Wait. Who do you think you are talking back at me like that?" Alex asked obviously annoyed at Neptune.

"Neptune Witherston.  The guy who will destroy your reputation any minute now." Neptune carefully said. Letting the venom in his voice. That was the best line I've ever heard his say. I heard myself gave a little scream and mentally pull up a poster saying 'Go Neptune, Go!'

"And how do you plan to do that? What are you even gonna use with me?" Alex laughed as if Neptune was telling the biggest joke ever.

"By using this." Neptune warned and pulled out a golden pocket watch from his pockets. But when I looked closely, I saw it was not a normal pocket watch! It's like a steam-punk pocket watch out from those steam-punk novel books I've read. It has gears inside that are spinning and a little hole when the blinding white light shone out. We covered our eyes for protection, except for Neptune who's controlling the mechanical watch. 

"As the light comes out from the dark

 I came forward and gave a mark.

 A mark that will destroy everything of you

 Leaving you with nothing and feeling blue.

 A mark that signifies that you're no more.

 A symbol that says you're gone forevermore." 

       Neptune mumbled those words repeatedly. I watched as the gear gave out so much light I close my eyes. Not seeing what he did. I heard someone scream. And I hoped with all of me that is was not Neptune at all. I couldn't bear another loved ones who would have a face-to-face to death. I slowly opened my eyes together with Justin and gave out an almost voiceless scream after what I saw what happened. 

Clothes lay across the road. The person inside it turned to ash and flew through the darkness of the night and will never be seen anymore.

       Chapter 18 of E.T. is up! Oh it's been almost a week since I posted. But I promised to finish this until I hope first or second week of May. I know! Its ending soon. :( No more Mandy, Neptune & Justin. But I'm kinda thinking of a sequel. Let's see what will happen. What did Mandy saw anyway? Are you guys curious? I am too! Haha.
