Hunk| Meant to be

Setting: You're Hunks girlfriend and he just came back from a dangerous mission while also rescuing Pidge's brother Matt. (I know Pidge brought her brother back on her own but in this setting Voltron went out on a mission to retrieve him.)

Your P.O.V

"We're on our way back." Shiro announces through the communicator causing a wide smile to break out on my face. Voltron has been gone for a couple of days now and to be honest I've missed my big teddy bear; plus, I've also missed his cooking. Coran and Allura can't cook to save their lives.

"Got it. See you soon." Coran replied before Shiro's face disappeared from the screen.

"I'm going to go wait by the door." I all but squealed. Saying I was excited was an understatement. Hunk has been gone for no longer than a week but it feels like it's been months since I've last seen him. I miss my teddy bear so much.

During their absence Allura and Coran have kept me company but at the end of the day he was still gone and I was still going to sleep to an empty bed. I miss being wrapped up in his big arms and being held so carefully against him through the whole night. I miss the talks we would have about any and everything. I miss the looks he would give me when I would talk on no end. Most of all though, I miss his passionate and loving kisses.

Let's just say it's been a long week.

I stood at the door where all of the paladins would exit, my hands being laced together in a tight fist to keep them from shaking. I was so excited that I just couldn't seem to keep how happy I am under control. Realizing that my hands were still shaking I placed them in my jeans pockets, stuffing them in there to try and hold them still while I bite my lip to hold my wide smile from being too big and me looking creepy. Even with all my efforts to calm myself and look normal I still looked like a crazy person.

A few minutes later Coran and Allura joined me, standing next to me forming a line as we waited for them to arrive. They also seemed excited to have the paladins back and safe. Allura held her usual princess high head and perfect posture but even I could tell she was shaking with excitement to have them back with no harm done.

"I see you're excited." Allura spoke in her clear and soft voice.

I tore my gaze away from the door to look over at her. She only glanced at me but kept her gaze on the door. I nodded at her, smiling. "I can't wait. It feels like they've been gone for forever." She laughed again but left me to continue to soak in my exhilaration.

The door let out a hiss as it open and I sucked in a huge breath getting ready to jump into Hunk's arms only to let it out once I noticed, there was in fact 5 people in front of us, but none of them was my Hunk.

"Glad to see the everyone made it back safely." Allura spoke, before bring in her eyes to the none familiar being. "I'm Allura, princess of Altea." She smiled, giving him a small nod.

The guy stepped forward and nodded towards her. "I'm Matt. Pidge's brother." He replied looking over to Allura, then moved his eyes to Coran, and then made his gaze over to me. As soon as we made eye contact I gave him a smile which made a huge blush erupt on his all over his face. "You-" He said before giving me a large smile. "You're so beautiful."

My eyes widened as a blush stained my cheeks. "Uh th-thank you." I said, nervously, shocked by the forwardness he had. He just winked at me, sending me another wide smile. All I wanted to do was walk away from the situation, him making me uncomfortable with his flirting. "I'm going to go to the bathroom real quick." I stated before quickly making my way away from them all.

Once I got in the room I let out a breath I don't know I was holding. As I looked into the mirror I puffed out my lip and sighed disappointingly that Hunk wasn't there. Where was he? He must've just gotten held up on his Lion. That Matt guy was giving me the creeps. I shivered at just the thought of him flirting with me.
