Shiro| They don't need me| Part One

Setting: (Season 1 Episode 10) Allura, Shiro, and you go on a Galra ship to steal information when things turn bad. You guys are found out to be on the ship, causing Galra soldiers to come after you guys. The only escape pod begins to close and you guys get placed into a tight spot as you all struggle to keep the door closed while also trying to get to that pod.

Your P.O.V.

"I'm coming." Allura said firmly, making sure there was no room in her tone to suggest otherwise. All of us looked at her like she was crazy.

"Princess," Coran started, but he was cut short by her glare.

I looked to my boyfriend Shiro, as we all did, to see how he would tell her no and that it's too dangerous and that she should be here piloting the castle instead. "Uh..." He trailed off, not knowing what to say. He then shrugged and said, "suit up."

At his response I slapped my hand on my forehead. What an idiot! He's going to let her risk her life when she doesn't have to. We need her on the castle for backup in case anything happens, she's the only one who can completely control it.

"Nice going." I muttered, walking out with everyone to Pidge's lion.

"Oh come on, she was going to come either way. At least this way she didn't go against me." He said giving me a smile to try and get himself out of trouble.

I pulled him aside, as we neared the Green lion. "Listen, I know she's head strong and incredibly intimidating but she's the princess and she's our top priority to keep safe no matter how hard she denys it. Without her this whole 'saving the universe plan' will crumble. There's always another paladin that can pilot the lions but there is only one princess who can lead. None of this, us coming together as a team, would've been possible without her." I say, watching as his features change realizing I'm right. "Next time learn how say 'no'"

With that I walked off towards the lion and went up inside taking a seat next to Allura. She thinks she knows how it is fighting out there, your life being able to be taken away so easily since you're so exposed and not protecting by the castle walls. Allura doesn't know what she's gotten herself into. All of us have to keep her safe, no matter what.

Shiro walked on without a word, him probably deep in his thoughts. He took a seat next to me while Pidge started up the lion and drove it over to the Galra ship. I probably was a little harsh on him but it seemed to be the only way to get my point across.

Everyone else noticed the tension between us and luckily didn't address it. They just chatted like they normally would, which of course ended up in a fight between Lance and Keith.

"Excuse me, but I don't need your permission." Allura said with a harsh glare towards Shiro after he said he would not allow her to go alone. I rolled my eyes at her response, she's acting like a spoiled brat. Thankfully, my boyfriend put his foot down on this situation. She's being totally unreasonable.

See we have just gotten the unimportant information from this Galra pit stop ship and Allura thinks it would be a good idea to go upon one of the Galra ships that is heading to central command and get information from there...alone.

"You're crazy if you think we're going to let you go on a suicide mission." I said, not being afraid to talk back to her and hide away from her glare.

"You have no authority here Y/n!" She snapped fully turning to face me.

I narrowed my eyes at her. Can't she see I'm just trying to keep her alive! "You're right." I spat out before taking a step forward. "Authority or not there is no way in hell you are going out there alone. I can't stop you from going but I can make it so you're not going alone. So I'm going with you and you can't stop me."
