Disclosure: I know nothing about medicine. I tried researching to make it so I'm not completely dumb, but I am when it comes to that sort of stuff. So if anything is wrong I'm sorry. Also I don't think they talk about people in the medical field on the Atlas so I made people up.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! I hope you all have a great Christmas! ❤️ Sorry this is a bit late in the day, I've just been so busy today.

Setting: You work in the medical room as a studying doctor. You and James having obvious feelings for each other, but both of you are oblivious of the others returning feelings. Your cowokers start noticing how often he comes around and tease you about it.

Your P.O.V

"Y/n, can you get me 10mg of morphine?" My coworker, Eden, asked as she was dealing with a patient that went out to gain supplies. Every couple days the Garrison sends out a group of 5 volunteers to obtain supplies, specifically ones we're low on, which is generally medicine. The one Eden is taking care of got injured when one of the Galra's drones came out of no where. Fortunately, they were all able to make it out generally okay.

I quickly went to make the dose in a syringe for her. It didn't take me long and I was able to hand it off to her for her patient. The man was in a lot of pain, the drone managing to skim his arm. Eden looked up from disinfecting his wound and gave me a grateful smile as I passed the syringe to her.

I went back to sanitizing station for my next patient. I made sure to be thorough before I deemed it cleansed.

Once finished, I went to talk with another one of my coworkers. Her name is Olivia, us meeting back in medical school or what we could call medical school. Both of us tried to whole piloting thing but found no interest in it and so we switched to learning about medicine. We were both best in our class and moved up quickly to actually work in the hospital wing of Garrison.

"Do you think he will come today?" Olivia teased, sipping some of her coffee. It's early afternoon but Olivia likes to have her coffee later in the day, she says it helps her relax more.

"Who?" I questioned as I pretended not to know who she was talking about, but I knew. She knows of my little crush on one of the MFE's. He actually comes in here often but I wouldn't say for me, mainly because he just wants to be sure he is in perfect shape to fly and protect us from the Galra.

She gave me a look as I made my way over to make a cup of water for myself. "Griffin." She said giving me a playful smile, raising her cup of to her lips adding a small giggle.

I rolled my eyes, taking a sip of my drink. "Maybe, I mean you know how he wants to be in good shape. He shouldn't be flying if something is wrong." I responded, which is the truth. Olivia just seems to think he likes me back, which couldn't be farther from the truth. If anything he would like Veronica, or Nadia, or Ina. Any of them makes more sense than him liking me.

Olivia laughed as she always does when she claims I'm in denial. "When are you going to admit that the only reason he comes here is so he can see you." She said, drinking more of her coffee. This is generally what we did in the afternoon's since they're usually so slow. It's not until search

"Never, because it is not true." I replied getting her to roll her eyes but both of us laugh. "Anyway, enough about that, Eden and I were talking about how we think that one of us should go out on the next search party. Those people look for what we write but we're the only ones who actually know what we're looking for."

Olivia thought about it for a minute before she spoke. "I don't know, it could be dangerous."

I sighed knowing she would say that but she wouldn't even have to be the one to go out. "I know, but anything these days is dangerous. Plus, we only write what we think is out there, we don't know what could really be out there. I think that we take the chance and gather as much useful medicine as we can." I explained, hoping she would understand and get on board.
