Shiro| Papa

Setting: Shiro sent you back to Earth thinking he was protecting you. Unknowingly to you both, you were 2 months pregnant. Now about two and a half years later the paladins return to Earth, more than just you waiting for Shiro's return.

Your P.O.V

"Momma!" My two year old son, Lucas, yelled as his infectious giggling filled the area. He was running towards me with his arms wide open while Lance's nephew and niece chased after him. They must've been playing around while I was in the meeting discussing our next moves against the Galra.

"Hey, baby." I cooed, bending down and scooping him into my arms. Lance's nephew and niece then stopped once they reached me and wrapped their bodies around my legs.

"You'll never escape!" Silvio yelled, then they both started giggling loudly.

"What are you guys playing?" I asked, curiously looking at the three.

"Hide and seek tag!" Nadia replied, a wide smile on her face. "I'm it and I just have to tag Lucas now."

"Lucas, are you using me to cheating?" I asked with a fake glare.

"No!" He exclaimed and then hugged me tightly, giving me a wet kiss on the cheek. "I wuv momma!"

I couldn't help but laughed as he smushed our cheeks together. "I love you too, bubs."

"Let's put a pause on the game and all get something to eat." I suggested watching as both jumped up with excited looks on their faces. "Is that good?"

"Yes!" They exclaimed, one grabbing my free hand as I held Lucas with the other.

"Y/n!" I heard my name being yelled from down the hall as I sat with the kids while they were finishing their snack. Lucas being the messy eater he is, has applesauce all over his cute face. "Y/n!" The voice yelled again, though this time sounding much closer. I looked over my shoulder towards the entrance with a confused expression.

"In here!" I called back. Whatever it is, it sounds serious.

The footsteps got quicker and then suddenly Veronica was in the room. She was breathing heavily with tears forming in her eyes. "They're here! The paladins are on their way in!" She exclaimed making my heart stop. Shiro...He was almost here. After all this time he was finally coming back to me, finally going to meet his son.

"Y-You're sure?" I stuttered, not know what else to say. I didn't want this to be a joke or anything. I wanted to know that he was coming, for sure.

She nodded her head, "Uncle Lances is on his way home." She said to the Nadia and Silvio, both instantly grinning and jumped up to ran towards her, begging her to show them. "He's here, Y/n." She smiled widely through her tears.

They ran off but it was like I couldn't move. I knew he would come back at some point but I never knew what I would do when he does. When he sent me home, wanting to protect me, he and I both didn't know I was pregnant. It wasn't until about a month later I found out, but there was no way to tell him. So,I've been raising our son by myself, telling him and showing him pictures of his father. Despite never having seen him before Lucas knows a lot about him and already loves him.

"Momma?" Lucas asked, getting me to snap out of my thoughts and looked down to my sweet angel. "Who here?"

I smiled sweetly at him, grabbing a wet wipe and cleaning his face. "Your papa." I replied watching as a huge smile broke out onto his face.

Lucas jumped up and started tugging on my hand towards the door. "Papa here! Papa here!" He exclaimed jumping up and down. I've never seen him so excited, not even for dessert.
