Luke woke up in the hospital, with Reece asleep by his side. Luke sighed, taking in a deep breath before he put his hand on Reece's shoulder and shaking him softly, "baby, you wanna wake up?"

Reece moved slightly, lifting his head and squinting at Luke, "hey." Reece croaked, setting a small smile on his face, "you okay?"

Luke smiled, taking Reece's hand, "I'm okay, just tired. What happened?" Luke asked, his memory a little foggy about everything.

"You collapsed at home, they need to do another scan later." Reece said.

"Okay." Luke smiled, lying his head down again.

"You'll be okay." Reece said softly.

"I know, we'll be okay." Luke leant forward and kissed Reece on the mouth quickly. He then leant back and put his free hand on his stomach, Reece doing the same and rubbing at Luke's tummy.

"Whatever happens, we'll be alright, even if it's bad news." Luke hummed, kissing at the back of Reece's hand.

Two nurses then entered the room, "Luke were gonna take you for your scan now." One said, both of them going around the bed. Reece stood up, still holding Luke's hand, "I'll see you soon Lu."

Luke nodded, "okay. Love you."

"Love you too."

They left the room, Luke's doctor coming towards them, "hello Luke." He said with a smile, "we'll take you for your MRI scan."

"Where can my boyfriend wait?" Luke asked as Reece followed behind the bed as it was wheeled through the corridor, Luke wasn't allowed out of bed because of his fall, they were afraid of any head trauma like a concussion.

"He can come with me if he likes?" The doctor suggested.

"You mean in the room?" Reece questioned, that would mean he'd get to see Luke's scans before Luke would.

"Yes."

Reece nodded hesitantly, "okay."

They went to the scan room, Luke lying on the bed as Reece watched from the small room. Once Luke was ready, the machine started, a loud banging noise echoed through the room. Reece sighed, his arms closed as he watched the screens load over the doctors shoulder.

It took a few minutes for the screens to load and once they did, the doctor sighed. "What is it?" Reece questioned.

The doctor pointed at a white circle, then another two, "these are tumours."

"Multiple?" Reece questioned, shocked, "where are they? He had his thingy's removed; I thought it was gone?"

"We thought it was just in his testicles, but it seems it had always been in other places, and we'd missed it. Sometimes it's missed in scans, and we were looking at his genitalia more than his lungs."

Reece looked at Luke in the machine, the blond was wiggling his little toes as he waited, and Reece could feel his heart break at the realisation.

"He's pregnant, he won't give it up," Reece said to the doctor, still looking at his boyfriend.

The doctor nodded, "I understand, but you'll either have to persuade him, because of the stress it'll put on the baby, and chemotherapy will harm the baby, and if he puts it off for the baby, he will get worse, and at this stage of his cancer, that cannot happen."

Reece sighed, "shit." He whispered, "thank you." He said to the doctor.

As the nurses sent Luke back to his room, Reece went to the wait room, where Michael and Jack waited patiently. Michael stood as he saw Reece, "what's wrong with him? Is he okay?"

Reece looked at Jack who looked completely terrified, "the cancer is in his lungs and other places. Chemo will hurt the baby but Luke won't give the baby up." Reece explain briefly, "what do I do?"

Michael licked his lips, "you tell Luke to abort the baby, do not risk it, we'd all rather have Luke still around."

Reece agreed, "I get that, but Luke's stubborn, you know that more than anyone."

"You make him listen." Michael said sternly, "you hear me, I still care about him, you make sure he knows what he's doing and that he has to take care of himself."

Reece nodded, "I'll try."

Also I know usually patients families aren't allowed in the little room during scans but shsushshhhh
