Three hours later they boarded a plane to Montana where they would then make their way across the border from the Northern brother's land.
Storing their carry on's into the overhead cabins Kalmin looked at Adira who stared out curiously onto the tarmac. Taking a seat he fastened his seatbelt and leaned back slightly closing his eyes.
Adira was more aware as she found many eyes who were fixed on her. She knew they were the spies from the other societies, but she did not feel one bit comfortable, especially with Kalmin paying no mind to them.
Slinging a hand to hit his toned abdominals he managed to open one eye and peer at her panicked expression.
"Kalmin, there are spies everywhere." She whispered harshly.
"I know, I've seen them." He says in his throat.
"Then what are we going to do?" She said as she watched the flight attendant walk to the front of the plane.
"Well first of all, you can stop making it so obvious and act like a normal person. You gain more attention than just the spies." He says with a heavy sigh.
The newly granted information makes her stop her panicking and understands that of which was said to her. She was such a fool.
Kalmin's hand found their way to her waist and she was able to swat it away just in time.
"What the hell are you doing?" She whisper-shouted with wide glowing eyes.
"Fastening on your goddamned seat belt. We are going to be taking off in a few minutes." He says with wide eyes himself.
Feeling her face flush a shade of pink she forms her mouth into an 'o' shape and starts fiddling with the seat belt. Not able to adjust it to her fit, Kalmin took her hands into his large rough ones and gently placed them on her lap before adjusting it for her. She felt her face flush from a hue of pink to a deep red.
Soon they were in the air and after about forty-five minutes of flying Kalmin loosened his seat belt and got up. Grabbing his hand, Adira silently asked him what he was about to do but instead he just glared.
Making his way to the bathroom, a Japanese spy followed him. They spent a few minutes and he came back to his seat, no sight of the Japanese spy. Ten minutes later he gets back up again and a Syrian spy follows him, again the process repeats itself until all the spies identified didn't come back out. After the last person was dealt with Kalmin went back to his seat and fastened his seat belt.
"What did you do Kalmin?"
"You do not need to know. Just be assured that there is no threat left on this plane."
Watching him out the corner of her eyes she shuddered with the thought of the poor people probably with their guts flushed down the toilet. Remembering that they were trying to kill her eased that thought however, hunt or be hunted.
Coming down to the last remaining minutes of the flight Adira became oddly curious and desperately needed to use the bathroom. Hoping to sneak past Kalmin to witness his masterpiece, she silently unfastened her seat belt. Noticing his eyes were still closed and he seemed unaware of anything going on at the moment she commenced the next step of her plan which was getting up and stepping over him which took a lot of unexpected skill.
Getting one leg over his lap she ungracefully tried to get the next over in a very awkward position. Thank God the people sitting next to and opposite were either asleep or watching a movie. Kalmin didn't even stir as she tried readjusting her hand. A hand shot out to her waist pulling her onto Kalmin's lap.
"Don't even think about it." He whispered harshly and pushed her back into her seat. She rolled her eyes and tried again but dark blue stormy eyes now glared at her.
"I need to use the bathroom, really bad." She whined.
"You can wait until we land."
"What are you talking about? We aren't landing anytime soon-"
A familiar ding rang throughout the aircraft and the air hostesses voice sounded, "passengers, the fasten your seat belt signal is now on meaning we have begun our descent to land."
Dark eyebrows raised in Adira's direction as she rolled her eyes once more and muttered curses towards Kalmin.
Once they landed Kalmin retrieved their Carry on's from the overhead cabin and they left the plane just in time to hear the air hostesses' screams upon reaching the bathroom. Walking faster towards the terminal they both, sadistically let out a chuckle of laughter.
As it turns out Adira desperately needed to use the bathroom and apparently, so did the blonde young women behind her.
