Adira woke up in her dorm, the first thing she saw was the white ceiling before hearing a voice at the side of her. "You're her aren't you?"

The same girl with purple highlights loomed over her with curious brown eyes as she lay in her bed.

"What?"

"You're the queen aren't you?"

"Queen? What queen?" She hissed.

"You do not even know yourself, what do you know?" The girl chuckled.

"Apparently I do not." Adira said sitting up slowly, cracking her neck. The girl looked at her continuously, never leaving her eyes.

"Any female Lord born of royal blood is a queen, it's birthright." Purple highlights said.

Adira didn't quite follow but nodded anyways, she was still tired and any words sounded like it was wrapped in bubbles.

"Who are you?" Adira asked with a yawn.

"I am Leyana Outisha, future lord of the Hawaiian society."

"So you are a queen then."

"No my queen , you are wrong in that matter. I am not a Queen, I was born beta but I plan on fighting my way to the top, that is why I am here." She says proudly.

"Oh, I see." Adira nodded.

The girl definitely fit the Hawaiian role with tan skin and dark brown wavy hair, she looked perfect.

"Come, we must eat breakfast then you can do whatever you want. For now I must occupy your time." She smiled standing up.

Adira already dreaded the idea of going to classes, she knew that a routine would have to be developed and it has been a while since she went to school.

They left their dorm building where they walked to a central building circled by more dorms. They were huge and penthouse like. Each person got their own spacious room, bathroom and closet space along with a living room and kitchen area equipped with a fridge, microwave and counter top. This was no normal school.

They entered the central building which looked to be a mess hall, rows of tables and chairs with people intertwining their way through. Concession stands for different foods and desserts. On a chalkboard read: Today's Menu, waffles or pancakes with eggs, bacon and fruits.

Leyana led her through the crowd of people who parted like the red sea once they saw Adira. They stared at her from partially bent heads, all curious to see the new arrival. They all knew who she was, it's just that she doesn't.

As she walked through the created space she really was hoping Moses was walking behind her, some boys even took a knee when she approached, this irked her.

She carried on uncomfortably, the servers even failed to meet her eyes. She was not a normal addition. The more people that bent her way, the more isolated she felt.

Leyana led her to a table with the guy from yesterday and about two other boys around the same age, one might've been older. Jeremiah was the curly headed boy's name. The other was Jack-Christoff of the Northern French society and another's name whom she couldn't pronounce, all she knew was that he came from a society in Japan.

Everyone at the table except for Leyana and Jeremiah couldn't meet her eyes which annoyed her. Was there something on her face?

"Jeremiah, where are you from?" Adira asked finally speaking up, all heads turned her way, watching on in surprise before her eyes scanned theirs and they resumed eating.

"The secret society of the Eastern states, my queen."

"Do you lie Jeremiah?" She asked, her heart started beating faster than it already, unnaturally was.

"I do not, you have never met me, in fact no one has. I am the second to last of my brothers to finish the academy and then we shall be announced to the societies as active members." He spoke like everything was learnt, like he memorized that answer.

"Yes, I know. But I must ask why is everyone acting so weirdly? It seems like people are cautious of me almost, it's weird isn't it."

They laughed, all around the table they laughed at her, stupidity, lack of awareness and the brilliant bout of sarcasm.

She looked at them with bated breath as they gradually stopped laughing and stony faces set ridged lines on their faces.

"You're not serious are you?" Leyana asked wiping the tears from her eyes. Adira's face remained impassive as she waited for an answer or an explanation to the laughing.

"Oh my God, you really do not know. Adira you are-" In that moment Kalmin walked in and caught her eye like a lighthouse illuminating the darkest areas of the night, where nothing ever sees.

She forgot the current situation at hand and stalked the person who just entered.
