I know it's been forever since I've been here, but please forgive me, I'm so busy, school started and classes are a lot harder than last year, and over the summer I was busy watching Flash Arrow Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl (In that order) so I haven't exactly been focused on this. I'm sorry! BUT I'M BACK NOW!!
Midnight P.O.V.
It's been 3 days and I've strained most of my muscles from the equipment and other exercises. As big as this cavern is it's begun to feel similar to The Compound. As of when I write this, I'm daydreaming of water. I've begun to realize just how much I miss Daddy, Kayla, and even Damian. Often after harder workouts, Kayla and I would soak in the pool. Sometimes Daddy would join us, and once in a while, Damian would come. Only once were we all out there together. I remember the pure bliss we had. I think that's the only time I've seen Damian smile. These past 72 hours have shown me something I don't really want to remember or think about. The fact that I'm only a kid. I'm merely 7 years old. Normal girls my age are watching Tinkerbell and bedazzling belts and lamp shades. Not me though, I'm watching street fights and cleaning throwing knives. And I'm still a child.
A child hunted by Superman.
At least Kayla is safe.

I put down my notebook. I was drained, mentally, physically, and now emotionally. I knew I wasn't going to stay here for much longer, and though it was far away I wanted to see the ocean.
I dressed in a dark purple long-sleeve with a jean jacket that I left open and loose blue jeans with a belt. I kept my boots on, but they were unnoticeable under my pants. In a bag I had the rest of my suit hidden, some snacks, and a change of clothes - If I did end up swimming.
I found a second 'hall' out of the cavern, beyond it was a field. A note was stapled to a fence post.
Karra,
If you should need it, there is a horse here named Sailor. I left her for you. She will take you to a shed of everything you will need for her.
Stay Safe.
I could tell Damian's handwriting.
~
I hid Sailor in a rock cove. I know this is risky but I need something relaxing outside of the Cavern. As I walked along some beach families were playing and the sun was beginning to set. I could feel the ocean breeze and smell the salty air. I sat some ways away from the waves. I peeled off my jacket and laid in the sand. pulling on sunglasses I closed my eyes.
'Oh the peace and comfort,' I thought, 'this is what paradise feels like.' I listened to kids scream and couples talk, teens splashing through the water. I fell asleep on that sandy beach.
~
"Miss? Miss, are you awake?"
I looked to see brown skin and gray eyes blocking the remains of the light. He moved back as I stood up. 'Aqualad!' I looked around there were a few other people waiting for him watching us, 'The Team!'

Darkness's P.O.V.
It's been weeks since I saw her. And I'm not counting the seconds at my would be surprise party, I missed having her around. I missed having Blur trailing my every step while she was gone. Dad hardly left his computer, I tried not to think of those three months. Three months, I learned, that she had nearly destroyed a planet. I tried to think of what she would be doing other than potential havoc and chaos. At least the compound hadn't found us yet. Or maybe they found her and are rewriting her. I shook the thought from my head. There were too many possibilities of where she could be or what she could be doing.
And then there was Superman. He's the biggest powerhouse of the league, and he's out to get her. It didn't take long to hack their video and audio feed. I couldn't do anything to stop him. I wanted to help Karra but ...
A memory surfaced
~Flashback~
She's so angry, we had just left the cloaked girl and my body burned. I couldn't look up but I could feel the waves of rage flowing off of her. Finally we stopped, they set the tables upright so we could see each other. Her whole face and body didn't speak of the same burning that I had, she didn't feel the pain from the girl, she had a burning anger that built up till she shook.
The next weeks were blurry, I couldn't count the times she tried to get out. With and without me. She sunk so deep into an angry pit she wasn't pulled out until they gave her a bow, twenty arrows, eight targets and two hours in a locked room by herself. I don't know how she didn't end it then and there but, in those two hours, she became fast and accurate.
~ Present Time ~
I sat down on the edge of my bed and pulled out my special notebook from between my mattress and frame. The glittery cover was something special Karra and I ... picked up once. Back when we were still running to survive, we walked into a Walmart as we were heading to the food we passed a back-to-school section. I looked through it pulling Karra with me, the second I saw the two notebooks with pink sparkly covers I knew I wanted them. It took a little talking but I sacrificed food for the beautiful books. Karra wasn't too happy about it then, but after a while I caught her writing in her's. She didn't know, but I knew she loved it.
Most of the sparkles were worn off and the covers had many tears, the metal rings were really bent out of shape but I still loved that it was one more thing that we would always share. And I knew, somehow I knew she was holding her's thinking of me, as I thought of her.
Which is ironic because the original team are at a beach in California and Midnight was discovered by Aqualad. So, I will leave you off with a large cliffhanger,
Until next time...
Stay Whelmed :)
