Midnight lifted her hands off the wall and put up the best mental block she could as she started sliding the mile and a half she had dug out.

Recognized Robin B 28

She stopped, Robin, but Tim is dead. Did he find a new kid to become Robin.  Then she remembered the night with Kayla at the docs. There is no possible way Batman would let that boy become a robin! He wouldn't... would he?

Nightwing, "You found another one? What's the story for him."

She could almost see batman waving him off.

Batman "Is Midnight still out?"

He rubbed the back of his neck, "Not exactly."

Batman turned back to him and gave the signature glare, "What do you mean "not exactly"?"

Nightwing, "I mean she attacked me, knocked me out and starting digging a hole through the ceiling!"

Batman looked at him with disbelief, Robin looked up at him and accusingly said, "You got knocked out by a 6 year old girl? HA! Pathetic!"

Batman, "Robin, Enough." he stopped.

Nightwing looked down at him, 'And what's your story hu, he pick you up like he did Jason? Or was it more like what happened with..."

Batman, "Nightwing, Enough" It was the same tone he used with Robin and Robin smirked.

Nightwing, "Oh this is so a different story," he looked back up at Bats with a grin, "And you are telling me about it."

Batman, "Not now. Where is Midnight?"

Nightwing pointed to the pile of dirt on the floor then the three foot wide hole in the cave ceiling. "Dug her way up there a little while ago. I'm pretty sure that she had some super-power or something because she's already out of view and it's way too dark to see anything. But nothing has come out of there but dirt."

Midnight, Awww he does care. This Robin will be a fun story to share... with all of us. Until then this will be fun to see how it plays out. And the emotion from them, Fear from the boy curiosity unease pain. And Dad's afraid? of me he doesn't like the fact I'm up here.

Batman stepped over to the pile of dirt and looked up the hole. "Midnight! Come down here!"

Midnight slid the rest of the way down, "But I was having so much fun up there," she looked at the boy, then back at Batman, "He's cute."

Batman, "We're going now."

Midnight, "Sorry no." The Glare.

Nightwing, "That is the most she has talked since the night at the watchtower."

Batman/Midnight, "Enough"

Nightwing put his hands up, "Ok it's fun enough to watch this play out."

Midnight, "I'm not leaving until I got some answers!" her voice turned more and more accusing as she went, and louder, a lot louder, "Like why I was in a STARIGHT JACKET!!" under her mask her face was turning red.

Batman turned to stone and in a forced calm quiet voice said, "I will answer all of your questions when we are back at the cave but right now we are leaving."

She seamed to contemplate this when Nightwing butted back in, "You know what I think that is a great idea, we all go back to the cave Bats tells us everything that's going on with you two." he beamed mostly as an insult to Batman but because he simply like the idea he came up with.

Batman, "Fine." He put in the untraceable coordinance straight to the Bat cave.

Nightwing turned the com link back on, "Miss M, I'm heading out with Bats Midnight is with us too, I'll see you back at the cave."

M'gann, "OK." her voice was strained with fear confusion and unease.

Nightwing, "Is something wrong?"

She thought about telling him but decided against it, she gave her word she would keep it, "No everything is fine I'm bringing BB with me too."

Nightwing, "OK see you then." He didn't believe her.

Authors Note So I ended it on another cliffhanger, sorry if you don't like them. So you may have figured this out but soon someone will be coming forward with something whether it be Karra about Kayla or her power. Robin about his identity.
