He blindfolded me and lead me somewhere outside, with quite a walk and a short car journey at some point - I end up disoriented before he takes it off revealing that we're in a clearing in the woods.
"Oh my God..." I gasp in awe as I take it in. There's a a couple of logs to sit on, blankets over them and the floor which has a small table with a huge wicker basket in the centre. There's softly lit lanterns around the area too...It's beautiful, beyond words.
"I hope you're hungry." Adrian grins at me before taking me over and showing me what's in the basket.

We sit there eating and laughing talking about everything and nothing all at once.
"Favourite colour?"
I grin as I slowly bite into a strawberry, and Adrian watches me grinning right back, "Black- like my soul." I laugh at my response as does Adrian. "Mostly though it's probably blue. It used to be lilac when I was little though."
Nodding as if that makes sense he continues by firing at me, "Do you have a favourite flower?"
"Why? Thinking of buying me some?" I quip.
He smirks, "Who knows?"
"Amaryllis's." I say after a pause.
"I didn't peg you as an Amaryllis girl."
"The fact you know what I'm on about surprises me."
"Are you kidding? They're beautiful. The story behind it is...interesting too. " Adrian says dryly.
I look up at the sky, watching it change colour. "It's sad."
"What was the guy's name? " He leans back in his strong arms, closer to me.
"Alteo I think." My mind taking me back to the myth that drew my fascination to those glorious flowers.
He whistles under his breath, "He didn't appreciate what he had."
"Does anyone really appreciate what they have until it's lost?" I muse out loud.
"That's a sad thought Luc-" Adrain's phone goes off suddenly, ringing non-stop.
He gets it and swears under his breath. "We have to go."
"Why?" I grab my bag and stand up.
"We're late." He grabs his keys and we start walking in what I assume is the way to the car.
"Shiiittt. How long do we have?" Do I have enough time to change?
"Dress in the car. You'll be fine." He assures me.
"What about the picnic stuff? "
"I'll grab it later." He grabs my hand and we bound to the car.
