Halloween with the Powers is like a whole party in itself. You make pumpkin shaped pancakes and orange juice with Halloween decorations surrounding the table. The stairs have fake spiders and cobwebs and the exterior of the house is already set up 2 weeks before the actual event.

The whole family is dressed up all day and then put on the actual costumes to go trick or treating. Kennedy and Kendrick stay home to issue out the candy to kids while you and Keith take the youngest three. Tyrell and Makayla joined too since it's Kyrie's first Halloween. Of course the fun has to be cut short because you got a call saying Kennedy gave all the candy away to a dog that was dressed up as a princess. You wasn't surprised since dogs (and any animal for that matter) are her weakness.

But before you left to get more candy you took Taylor to one last house. There was a witch sitting with a bowl of candy for kids to grab and Taylor hesitated since she already had a fear of witches, so Keith picked her up and carried her. "Look stinkybutt, just get the candy. See." He reached down, picked up some candy and placed it in her basket. Taylor looked at him then back at the lady and reached down. A green hand popped up from under the candy which caused her to scream and jump in Keith's arms, "DADDY!" She cried and put her hand in the crook of his neck. He laughed as the lady pouted, she gave him more candy, "Here you go, sunshine. Sorry for the scare have a nice night." The whole family laughed silently in the car as Taylor was eating her candy with dry tears on her cheeks.

You stopped by the store to get bags of candy and when you came back, the little kids was sleep. At the house, you passed out candy for the last 30 minutes and cut off the Halloween lights to let people who pass by know the house was done for the night. After taking baths and officially putting the kids to bed you, Keith and the older kids ate the extra candy you bought and watched the Halloween Marathon on TV. "I don't know why the bitch won't get up and run." You said which caused Keith to tap your forehead "Shut up." Grabbing a jolly rancher you threw it at his head which he easily catched, "Thanks, baby mama." He winked and you rolled your eyes. Standing up you pushed his head, "Kiss my ass, Keith." You squealed when he smacked it, "Wait until they go to sleep." You looked around the room to see that you were receiving looks of disgust and amusement, "Eeww! Dad we didn't want to hear what y'all be doing when we sleep!" Kennedy glared.

Keith shrugged, "Who said y'all be sleeping?"

I hope my husband is this outta pocket. We had a fire drill today and this nigga was running around with a girl wig, she was about to fight her sister for snitching to their parents which got her put out the house.
