Sang POV

Holy shit! Brandon was fantastic! And he has 13 brothers? That's incredible. He spoke about them with such a fondness that I of course had to let him give them my number. If I can make friends with some delectable guys - what's the harm? Whore! Gonna fuck them all?! My step mothers voice rings in my ear. Fuck! Why can't she leave me in peace? I just want to leave that life back in Chicago. I don't need to be afraid of every shadow here in Charleston. I know how to protect myself, I know how to speak up - which is a feat in of itself. I don't need to be Chicago Sang Sorenson, I need to be the girl I've always had inside me but has been dying to escape! Buck up Sang! You are gonna do great!

I call the lawyer when my GPS says I'm 5 minutes away and I let my day dreams go while I drive. I day dream about my last year of school, the new friends I'm hopefully going to make with Brandon's family, the open road and the motorcycle I will be sure to get soon. The only thing that I am worried about are the girls at school. My last school the girls were vicious, they were cruel and they hated anyone who drew attention away from them. If my step mother and half sister have taught me anything is that females are far more dangerous than males. Jealousy can be a cruel bitch and it leads most girls on the path of destruction. Unfortunately I've been in the way of that path many of times completely unintentionally and it has made me very weary of women. Maybe that's why I felt comfortable with Brandon? And why I didn't get really nervous when he said he only had brothers? I've never had brothers or really been around any men other than my dad - and while he wasn't the greatest dad, he never laid a finger on me like my step mother was convinced ALL men would.

I'm pulling on to Sunnyvale Court and I see a huge house with a ton of cars parked in front. Whoa, guess I have a lot of neighbors? I hope they will welcome me into the neighborhood, seeing as how I'm only 17, they might think I'm a trouble maker. I should introduce myself later this week.

I pull up into my new driveway and notice the garage is open, so I pull right in. As I hope out of the car an older gentleman with silver hair, a pot-belly and kind eyes starts walking towards me. I walk out to meet him in the driveway and really take in the outside of the house for the first time. It's an older grey home, but well kept. Two-stories and tons of windows. I can't really tell how many rooms from out here but it looks like a proper family home and I find myself excited to turn it into my home.

"Hi miss, you must be Sang. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Hi! Yes, I'm Sang. it's great to put a face to the name Mr. Fuller." I reach out and shake his hand.

"Oh none of that, call me Tim. I knew your grandparents for almost 30 years. You may not have known them but they were family to me and therefore so will you. I'm here for whatever you need and I will help with whatever I can." He tells me and I can't help that I have tears spring in the back of my eyes. No one has ever called me family, let alone some stranger. I can see in his eyes the goodness in him and he truly means every word he is saying to me.

"Well thank you so much Tim. It's great to know I have someone here I can count on."

"Of course little bird! Would you like to go inside so we can go over everything and I can let you set up?"

"Sounds great. I'll leave my bags in the car and get them out later." He close the garage door with the opener and leads me up the small steps to my front door. Pulling out the keys, he unlocks the door and it opens to a wide entryway with a small table on the side with a glass bowl that looks to be for keys. Down the entryway on the right I see the entrance for the kitchen and dining room. It looks like all the appliance have been updated recently and there is a large island in the middle of the kitchen between the refrigerator and the bar that looks like it could hold five. The dining room is large but empty, no furniture but looks like it could hold a fairly large table. I see a staircase off to the side of the dining room and make a mental note to check that out later. I need to know all entry and exits for this house.
