Chapter 34

"Hey Dan, are you here" the treehouse, where I first found out about the problem with Chris
"Yeah I'm here, what's up?" He was sat in the beanbag chairs with our little puppy
"Chris"
"What about Chris? I told you he's gone for another 2 and a half years"
"Well 2 and a half years passed very quickly because I saw him today, walking around town, and he saw me"
"Wait, he's back?" I saw the fear begin to show in Dans eyes
"Yeah, he's back. So I need to know Dan, what happened while I was away?"
"You know I thinks it best for you to not be involv..."
"DAN! Tell me"
"Alright, fine. About a month after you left Chris came to speak to me, he apologised, said he had changed and regretted what he did, he said he wanted us to be friends again. Obviously I denied him and he got angry, he beat me up, threatened to end my life. He got suspended for a week, but he came back, this time nothing happened at school, but one day after school, he followed me home, and snuck into my house, I heard screaming, loud screaming coming from my mum, I ran to her, he was there, holding a knife in her stomach, making direct eye contact with me, there was nothing behind his eyes, I begged him to stop, said I'd be friend with him again if he stopped, he just laughed, told me I was too late, dug the knife in deeper and dragged it to the side o her stomach, before taking the knife out and stabbing her in the heart, she laid there bleeding out, me crying over her body, I had called an ambulance and the police, he was sat there, holding the knife and laughing. The police arrived and dragged him out of my house, but before he left he said one thing, he said 'if I ever see you again, you and that precious girl of yours will be sorry you ever met me' that's what happened" Dan was hardly audible as he finished speaking his words muffled by his sobs,
"If he's back, we need to leave y/n, we need to leave now"
