Chapter 28

I'm almost there, just 30 minutes, my heartbeat got faster the closer to home I got, my nerves skyrocketed but so did my excitement, just 30 minutes.

I pulled into the driveway, jumping out of the car without even getting my bags and ran to Dans front door, his mum answered and smiled at me
"He's in the treehouse" she stated before we said goodbye and she shut the door, I ran, faster than I ever have before, straight to the three house, I stopped at the bottom of the ladder debating wether to go up or find a way to bring Dan down. I started climbing the ladder, hands shaking and breath heavy. When I reached the top I heard the faint sound of music, I walked inside and saw Dan sat in the corner, he looked up and made direct eye contact with me, the biggest grin spreading across both of our faces as he jumped up and I ran into his arms, we stood hugging in silence for a while before finally pulling away
"Hi" I said excitedly looking into his beautiful chocolate brown eyes that I had missed so much
"Hi" he replied, still smiling widely, we hugged again "happy birthday" Dan whispered into my ear pulling away and turning around "I got you something" he handed me a bag, I opened it to find multiple small, silly presents, which I loved, but then saw an envelope at the bottom, when I opened the envelope I saw two tickets to (favourite band (mine would be tøp)) I squealed and looked up at Dan who was smiling at me
"Dan, thank you so much, now I just need to find someone to go with" I looked around for a moment, seeing Dans unamused face at my joke "okay fine, you can come. But no, seriously, thank you soooooo much"
"I wanted to make this birthday special for you, I missed you an insane amount"
"I missed you too"
We spent a while sat talking and catching up before Dan came to help me unpack in my house, we ended up waging a movie and falling asleep cuddled up on my bed, this has been by far the best birthday of my entire life.
