chapter 31

It has been 2 months since Dan became my boyfriend, I've never been happier than this, my life is the best it has ever been. I'm happiest when I'm with Dan, even if we are just sat in the same room doing different things, just being in his presence makes me feel so much happier.
Today Dan had a surprise for me, he said he'd been planning it for a while, I'm so excited but also kind of nervous.
He came to my window at 8am to wake me up
"Wake up princess" he called through the window
"Nooooo, its a Saturday, let me sleep" I covered my face with my pillow to stop the bright light that came through "and stop calling me princess" I heard Dan walking closer to me and he pulled the pillow off of my face and pulled the blankets from my body
"Sorry gorgeous but you need to get up" I looked up to him with pleading eyes "you know I'd love to spend the day with you in that bed watching some random show or movie, but this surprise is worth getting up early, so get up, I'll meet you in my car in 10 minutes, if you aren't there I leave without you" and with that he exited my room.
I pulled my self out of bed and threw on some clothes, a band shirt, flannel, and skinny jeans, perfect. I put my hair in a messy bun and did some simple makeup, I grabbed my phone and walked out to Dans car, he was already sat behind the wheel choosing some music for the ride. He saw me coming and starting playing a song with a mischievous look on his face, before my confusion could start I heard, very loudly, the g note.
"NOPE, DANIEL, STOP PLAYING THAT SONG OR IM GOING BACK TO BED" he didn't stop, in fact he turned it up louder and started to sing the words "alright fine" I began walking away, but the music stopped
"Get in the car" Dan said smiling
"Do you promise not to tear my emo heart to pieces by reminding me of one of the worst things to happen in the history of all emo things?"
"I promise"
"Good" I jumped into the car and stole the aux cord to put on my favourite playlist *insert amazing playlist here*.
The car ride lasted an hour, and when it finished Dan pushed me out of the car and put a blindfold over my eyes before guiding me with where to walk.
I heard a doorbell ring and a kind woman's voice open the door, after listening to Dan explain why I was blind folded she invited inside while I had to wait out side, I stood there for a few minutes before Dan came back and the woman left
"Okay, you can take it off now" as soon as I heard those words I whipped off the blind fold, after loosing vision from the sudden light for a few seconds, I saw Dan, stood, holding a tiny puppy (*your favourite breed of dog*)
"OHMYGOD, ITS ADORABLE" Dan held the tiny puppy out for me to hold "wait, you got me a puppy?" I took the tiny doggo into my arms
"I got us a puppy, and you get to name him"
I could cry, in fact, I was crying.
"This is the best day of my life. Okay, I'll name him *insert dog name (d/n)* "
"D/n, I think that's a great name"
"I love you so much Dan"
"I love you too"
I gave Dan a quick kiss before going back to the car and going to the park with our new puppy, I don't know how life could get better.

I'm sorry for not uploading for a while, I'm in a really bad mental state rn, probably the worst it's ever been and I'm also supper stressed with school and college as well as dealing with some personal shit that I cant talk about, so again I'm sorry I'll try to update more but I've kind of lost all motivation for everything so sorry if that doesn't happen.
