This should be simple for him, right? Taking care of three kids under 5? Easy peasy. Or at least that is what he thought before Demi gave him a kiss and drove herself to the airport early that morning. She was leaving for a couple days for a business trip, and there wasn't a doubt in her mind that he wouldn't do a good job. But when Preston woke up with a complexion greener than usual, he knew these next couple of days wouldn't be so simple he assumed it would be.

He could hear him sleepily climbing down the stairs, from where he was standing at the stove in the kitchen making eggs for breakfast.
"Daddy," he said, causing Justin to turn to the doorway to face him. He quickly walked around the island and crouched down in front of him, taking note of his pale appearance.
"Good morning," he softly cooed.
"Daddy," he repeated, "I don't feel good."
"Uh oh. What's wrong with my little guy, huh?"
"My tummy, Daddy. My tummy feels funny," he mumbled into his soft blue blanket that he was holding up to her cheek. He was still very warm, his hair sticking up in every direction from tossing and turning throughout the night.
"Well, do you want to have a snuggle for a while, before your brother and sister wake up?" he asked, rubbing his hands softly over his arms. He nodded in response, and clasped his small hands together at the nape Justin's neck, before he straightened himself out, one hand underneath his legs, the other on his back.

They were together on the couch for at most 5 minutes, before Justin could hear his newborn wake up, and start to cry, wanting her breakfast now. It was usually Demi who did the feedings in the morning. Demi found it to be the best way to wake up in the morning - with a snuggle. Little Danielle curled up against her chest. Demi's done it with all of their babies, and she loved it every time.
Justin reluctantly shifted Preston off of his chest so he could run up and grab Danielle and feed her. He walked into the kitchen quickly, filled up a kettle, and switched on the stove. He turned on his heel and exited the kitchen, walking up the stairs and going down the hall to retrieve his very upset little baby.

It took a while, but everyone was fed, and happy. Once Justin brought Danielle down to feed her, Benjamin found his way down too, demanding Justin's attention - along with Preston. Whilst being pulled in three different directions, he kept it together, managing to give Preston kisses and cuddles in between, and making his upset stomach go away. They were all snuggled onto the couch. Preston curled into his chest on his right, Benjamin had his head on Justin's left shoulder, and little Danielle was being held against Justin's beating heart. Simple.
