I'm surrounded
We all sing and dance
Clap in uneven beats
Flesh against flesh
As whistles pierce the air
We are all one in that moment
Lost in our world of
Trust
Safety
Raw emotions course through us
Exhaustion clings to us
Dragging our eyelids shut as we blink
Our voices go hoarse
The cords beaten and used well
We laugh and smile
Taking in each moment
Looking around for new friends
Screaming suggestions for new ideasMy head rests in your lap
Your fingers
Run through my hair
Sliding effortless between each strand
Our eyes meet
A smile graces your delicate features
My heart hammers
I stand and drag you to the circle
We dance
Lost in our own worlds
As music and bodies surround us
