Veins stand out against your pale complexion
I watch your hands shake
From the slightest effort
Wondering 'will I be like this?'
Alone in a room with no color
Devoid of life and companions
Forced to a bed
Watching a single clock tick ominouslyAs time continues on
Passing me by
Leaving me to ponder my purpose
And question who to call to do simple tasks
I breath deeply
And listen to my lungs rattle
And bring forth a cough
That leaves me gasping for oxygenA terrible feeling of dread rises
Listening to monitors go off
Hearing nurses yell for a doctor
Stuck in place
My eyes fixated on a speck above me
And slowly I drift into nothing
