*** Aaron on the Side***
Complicated
Chapter 6: Twisted Monday
It was 7:30 when my alarm went off.
Monday.
The weekend was over and it was back to school.
It was no big deal because my weekend sucked. I'd rather be in school anyway.
Bryce was with girls all weekend, I got an unexplainable feeling every time I thought about Aaron, and Calvin wanted to be around me more and more for some reason.
Things were definitely getting weird.
The one thing I could not get off my mind was the look Bryce and Corey exchanged at the party on Friday.
It was so... Intense.
I sat up in my bed and stretched.
There was a scratch at my bedroom door. I jumped up and opened it to let my cat, Sprinkle in.
Picking him up, I scratched his fur. "Hi baby".
I got sprinkle as a gift last year from my grandmother.
Being an only child got pretty lonely sometimes so Sprinkles kept me company.
I sat him down on my bed and got ready for school.
Skinny jeans, a black I love New York sweatshirt and purple vans.
My parents were already gone for work by the time I got downstairs but this was no surprise.
They weren’t the workaholic parents but they could be around a little more.
I got to school a little late.
This wasn't new but I knew I would have to deal with 'Mrs. Rain'.
Kristina.
Once I parked, I made my way into school walking through the hallway to my first period class.
"This shit is driving me crazy" a familiar voice said.
I stopped walking and stood there.
The halls were empty and I was the only one.
"I know, but you don't understand. It's not easy for me either".
Who the fuck was talking?
Walking towards the end of the hall, I peeked around the corner.
I froze.
"Look, just call me later. I have to get to class" Corey was saying to Bryce.
Bryce nodded and walked away from Corey with a look I could not identify.
Corey sat on the ground and covered his face with his hands.
"Fuck" he groaned.
It took everything in me not to go over and ask him about what just happened but I had no idea what kind of answer I would get and I honestly didn't want to know.
I turned in the other direction and made my way to English class.
"You’re late. Front office" Mrs. Wilfred said to me as I walked in.
I rolled my eyes. "You’re not even going to ask me what's wrong? I could have had a serious issue".
She ignored me and pointed to the door.
