God guys, I'm SO SO SORRY.
I haven't got a chance to write this story because of everything...
First of all, I had a camping trip this week.
Second, all my outside lessons like piano and math.
Then, SCHOOLWORK. UGH.
So I apologize for the VERY long update gap (whatever that means) and I hope you enjoy this chappy and the next.
*This is Future Flurry* Well turns out I had writer's block! I never realized this until a few weeks ago!
Now I am back in the story with a fresh batch of chapters! Not one, not two, but THREE chapters! Hope you enjoyed!

"Right," said Hiccup.
Hiccup addressed the Riders. The Dragon Riders had gathered to discuss the situation. It was dark already, and the Riders are getting even more worried (maybe except the Twins).
"We need to search the whole island for the hatchling. Snotlout, you go with Ruff an Tuff to search the South side of the island."
"What?!" exclaimed Snotlout angrily. "I have to go with these half-wits? Why not Astrid?!" The Twins chuckled with malice. "Don't worry Snotlout. We're gonna make sure you're not bored," said Ruffnut soothingly.
"I was getting there," said Hiccup, folding his arms. "Astrid is going on patrol with me on the North side. Heather, Dagur, you guys search the East side. Fishlegs, you go to the West. If you guys find anything, go back to the Wingmaidens and sound the bugle in the middle of the village. We'll all hear it, and we'll go back to the village. Got that?"
Everybody nodded, except Tuffnut, who was busy picking his nose and dusting his clothes.
"Okay, let's go!" said Hiccup, and they all flew off to their posts.
Hiccup mounted Toothless and said, "Come on Astrid. We'll split up, and cover the whole North."

Uh, whoops. Short chapter.
But don't worry! The next chapter will be longer than this, I can assure you! I just didn't plan this chapter because I was busy on the next chapter. Yeah, I'm weird.
