"Good evening, Director."
"I hope your ready for an overnight shift."
"My favorite thing."
"17 year old Jessica Turner. She was found in her bedroom with a bullet to the head."
"Address?"
"3768 Willow Lane."
"Be there in 30."
"Cya, Mi Amigo."

"Glad you're still here," I announce, walking into the guys' cubicles.
"Don't tell me," Scott states.
"17 year old Jessica Turner. Bullet to the head and found in her bedroom. Load up and call Kevin."
"What about Avi."
"I called him."
"You have his number?"
"On my work phone."
"I thought you left that here?"
"Meet you in the car."
Once we arrive at the crime scene, we manage to find Kevin and Avi leaning over Jessica. They must've beat us here.
"What do you have so far, Kevin?"
"Time of death is 6:30 this morning. That's all."
"Great. Avi, have you done anything?"
"I was mainly with Kevin while I've been here.. we came together.. sorry?"
"It's fine," I sigh.
"Why'd you come together?" Mitch asks.
"Oh, I kind of moved in with him. My girlfriend, Aleen, kicked me out."
"Sorry to hear that," I mumble.
"Oh, it's fine. She was a bitch anyways. Glad to be away from her."
"Why didn't you break up with her in the first place?" Scott laughs.
"She was terrifying. You never met her, or you would understand."
We all laugh and then I send them to work. Avi decides to go with me to check out the house.
"Parents?" I ask him.
"At work."
"Do they know their child is dead?"
"I believe they have been informed, yes."
"Well then."
"They were never home much anyways.."
"Boyfriend?"
"Girlfriend. Amy Harty. Her parents were homophobic.. that's why they were never home."
"Remind me to have Scott and Mitch interrogate them."
"Will do."

Once we got back to the lab, Kevin informs he didn't find anything unusual in autopsy. There weren't many particles to test either; it was a pretty standard murder. A man got angry and killed Jessica.
The hard part is figuring out who the angry man is.
Someone got the parents in interrogation and we're all headed there now. Scott and Mitch are interrogating, and the scary part is those two without a boss. All hell is going to break loose and I'm sure of it.
