"Esther," I greet, walking into her office.
She glances around the room, as if she was nervous, and then sits down at her desk motioning for me to join her across from her.
"So, I need you and your team to go undercover."
"Okay, why is this so secretive?"
"Well, it's not exactly information that everyone needs to know."
"Classified?"
"Basically."
"What are we doing?"
"Have you heard of the 'Lights, Camera, Action' charity?"
"Uh, I think so. They raise money for cancer kids?"
"No. They raise money for teens who used to have cancer so they can pursue their dreams."
"Ri- wait, they're hosting a gala next Saturday?"
"Exactly. I need your team to go undercover there."
"Why?"
"We've received an anonymous tip saying a group of elusive criminals have planned to plant a bomb at the gala. The problem being here, aside from innocent deaths, is that there are a ton of A-List celebrities attending this gala. It's a big deal."
"So, we're going as?"
"You all will be waiters. Except you and Avi."
"You expect us to pose as A-List celebrities?"
"Yes."
"Won't everyone know everyone here?"
"It's a big gala, if people ask, you're small actors on the rise. The majority of the people there will be actors. You all will be wearing mics and hidden cameras. If you have any more questions, feel free to come up here."
"I'll inform my team."
"Oh and Kirstin?"
"Nothing good ever comes of that."
"You and Avi will be posing as a couple."
"Wha- why?"
"I have strict orders to send two of you as a couple, I'm also not having an A-List celebrity date a waiter. You really should tell your team now. Bye."
"What about Scott and Mitch?"
"They're exes. That'd by awkard."
"Oh trust me, less awkward than this."
