"Hello, Ezzy."

"Top of the morning to you, Kirstie."

"It's 7 in the evening."

"Top of the evening. I bet you know what I've got to say."

"Where's the body?"

"306 Oak Street, East Syrcuse. The body is in a closet."

"Oh, that's always fun."

"Definitely."

"Are you at the scene?"

"No, I've got the day off. It's my birthday."

"Happy celebrating, Director."

"Happy investigating."

---

"Pick up your things, guys, we've got a case," I inform, striding into where all The Special Agents are.

"Info?"

"Found in a closet."

"Where at?"

"You know as much as I do."

"Fair enough," Scott says, being the last to get into the elevator.

"I call shotgun," Avi announces.

"I call driver's seat. Alone. In a van," Kevin mutters.

"The ever exciting life as a medical examiner."

We arrive at the crime scene, and it turns out its in a movie theater. The body, who turns out to be Francis Young, was stuffed in a supply closet.

Kevin tells us the apparent cause of death is sharp, and possibly blunt, trauma to the skull. The body was found when the last employee of the movie theater went to grab cleaning supplies.

Surprise! Bloody body hanging in your face.

Yep, that kid will be emotionally scarred.

After we transport everything we need back to the lab, I let the agents go home for a day. Not much we can do anymore, considering most people will be asleep.

---

"Good morning, Boss. I brought coffee," Mitch chirps as he exits the elevator, Pumpkin Spice Latte in hand.

"Classic much?" I ask.

"Hey, you get the same order every morning."

"That is true," I mutter as Mitch passes out everyone's drink.

"So, today we're going to be questioning people, correct?" Avi says, then turning to me.

"Correct, mostly. Mitch and Kevin, you'll search his house for any further evidence on his personal life. If you need to, head back to the movie theater."

"And us? Neighbors or co-workers or.." Scott asks.

"We don't know if he worked at the theater yet, quit assuming things Hoying."

"Alright, neighbors or workers at the theater," Scott sighs.

"You guys choose."

"Co-workers. They sound more fun than neighbors," Avi pipes up. We all agree, and head back over to the movie theater. It's of course closed down for the day considering the investigation, so we find out all the employees. And then proceed to drive all around the city today.

Fun.

"So, Louis, you found the body, right?"

"Uh, yeah. I just opened the door and boom, body in my face."
